the high-waist denim skirt

This high-waist mid length denim skirt I had for ages. The reason why I decided to dedicate an entire post to it is because it is one of the most practical items of clothing I ever had. I wore it in literally every season: summer, autumn, winter and spring (as you can see in the photograophs). I don't remember the name of the store I bought it in, only that it was in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I'm a big fan of anything with a high-waist (pants, shorts, skirts) because I think it looks very feminine plus it also makes your legs look longer. Do you agree?

    really nice pics again!

    My Favs are:

    Nr. 2 - this tree has a big trunk. Also i love your outfit. I´m glad your wearing to this HOT !!!!! Boot-Heels a skirt, instead pants. Pants would only covered this "Killer" Boots. And of course your long legs!

A FASHION ILLUSTRATION OF MYSELF: ACRYLIC PAINTS (STOBREČ)

Hello dear readers! In this post, I'll share three original fashion illustration of an outfit I wore to visit Stobreč (Croatia). While I was in Split, Croatia, I also paid Stobreč a short visit. Following my visit, I decided to illustrate the black and burgundy outfit I wore. Sometimes I illustrate my own outfits. Why not? That way I can have an actual illustrated version of my closet, not just a digital version on this little place to call my own. And to think I thought that digital closet from Clueless was the coolest thing? This is way cooler! I used acrylic paints on mixed media paper for these illustrations. THE BRUTALIST BEAUTY OF SPLIT SUNSET

Split is famous for its Unesco protected Old town that is basically a preserved ancient Roman palace, but there is more to Split then just its ancient part. As a lover of history, I often post about the old parts of Split. As a lover of architecture, I sometimes post about the parts of Split built in the seventies and eighties! If you have been following my blog for a while, you might have come across posts showcasing modern neighbourhoods such as Split 3  (with its University  Campus ),   Trstenik (with its signature skyscrapers) and Žnjan  (that is not restricted to the namesake beach but rather a whole neighbourhood). Podstrana (Croatia/ Hrvatska)

Today another post from Dalmatia (region in Croatia). I had already posted about Podstrana here . It is a settlement and municipaty located near Split (in fact only 8 km from this city). Podstrana has about 9000 residens. It is very popular with the tourists. Podstrana has been populated since the prehistoric days. The first people to settle there were  Ilyrians,  more specifically, an Ilyrian tribe called Pituntini. If you want to see what the appeal is, feel free to browse photographs. When I was there this Sunday, the rainy clouds fought battle with the sun...and this elemental stuggle created those silver shades that Impressionist painters were so crazy about. TRAVEL WITH MY ART #3: CHURCH OF OUR LADY OF KAZAN , IRKUTSK

Hello, how are you? I hope you're doing well. I'm still struggling with low iron levels and it's not fun. With everything going on, I think we all need a bit of positive vibes right now. So, I'm continuing with   Travel With My Art , a fun art series I have started recently. The idea is to travel virtually together with the help of my paintings. My first  painting in this series was an acrylic landscape sketch devoted to a beach in Palermo, Sicily (Italy) and the second was an acrylic painting of bay Mala Stiniva on island Hvar (Croatia).   Today I'll share a watercolour pencil sketch of a place I never visited: a church of Our Lady of Kazan located in Irkutsk, Siberia (Russia).
