WIW IN MOSTAR + ZULEIKHA (A BOOK REVIEW)

Image
Hello. I'm back with a book review and an outfit post. Maybe you noticed that I've been a bit absent lately. The main reason for my absence is (not surprisingly) health problems. I've also been busy with a short term job I couldn't say no to so that kept me away from this blog as well. You could say that I'm meeting the holiday season fairly exhausted, but still in a relatively good mood.   In this post I will share with you two denim outfits and one book review. I wore these two denim outfits a few weeks ago for a stroll in Mostar city. Both of these outfits feature a pair of blue flared jeans. I don't really wear jeans that often, but sometimes I do reach for them. Plus, my significant other likes when I wear them.  My first outfit is all about two tonalities: camel and denim blue. I think these two colours work well together. It felt good to wear this! Plus, it was a sunny day and I was in a good mood. I love sunny autumn and winter days.  Zdravo. Vratila sa...

TRAVEL WITH MY ART #23: ZAVALA, ISLAND HVAR (CROATIA)

Image
Hello and welcome to the twenty-third post in TRAVEL WITH MY ART category. I'm really excited to share this acrylic painting with you because I have worked on it for such a long time. So, what was the inspiration behind this painting? Where are we travelling today? Once again I'm taking you to Zavala on island Hvar. We visited this place a few time on my blog but when a place is this magical you want to return to it. As you (regular readers) know, I absolutely love island Hvar. Not only do I have roots there, but I have spent a considerable  amount of time on this magical island. Most of my summers really, not to mention the fact that I worked and lived on island Hvar full time from October 2019 to November 2019.  Back in March, I started a new regular art feature on my blog with the goal of sharing my paintings and illustrations of different places. I named it 'Travel with my Art' because I use it to share paintings depicting different destinations. So far, I have pain...

PLUS FIFTY WAYS TO WEAR MARY JANE HEELS

Image
Hello! How are you doing? Thank God, I'm feeling better today. Thank you all for your good vibes and kind wishes. Today I'm back with plus fifty ways to wear a pair of Mary Jane heels. There's just a touch of platform to this pair, making the high heel easier to wear. Moreover, the heel itself is a thick one, making this pair quite durable. These are probably the most comfortable heels in my closet.  They are extremely versatile and look good with everything. I often wear them with dresses and skirts, but they look great paired with trousers as well. If I ever come across a pair like this one again, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.  I DO OWN MANY PEKO SHOES This pair is from Peko (A Croatian-Slovenian shoe brand)  and that's where I buy most of my shoes. I don't collaborate with them in any way (nor is this post sponsored), I just like their designs and quality.  Other Croatian shoe brand I shopped  to satisfaction are :  Šimecki (not producing shoes anymore...
