Summer isn't over yet. Not in Split city. The temperatures are still high and the sun is shining. Let me take you around and show you what this beautiful Croatian coastal city has to offer. If you're planning on visiting Croatia, right now is the perfect time to get that summer feel. I love exploring Split city on foot ( I already explained why it is a good idea to explore Split on foot in this post ).   You know, I  was always aware that Split is a  truly unique place, even when it wasn't as popular as it is today. I used to walk everywhere when I lived here! I'm a big believer in getting to know a city on foot. You can never know a town until you explore its every corner on foot.  I have more posts about Split scheduled and many more stories to tell. Some places we carry in our hearths, and our proximity to them is of little importance. I'm fortunate to have been able to make the most of my time spent in Split. My visits to Split have been short but sweet....

Today I'll show you two ways to style a scarf: one is by wrapping it around your headband and the other by using it as a belt for your dress.  I'm also going to link up old posts with more ideas for styling this scarf, offering you about a dozen ideas. The first idea is a common one. Wearing a belt around your dress is an easy way to accentuate your waist. The other outfit proposal shows a fresh styling trick: wearing your scarf wrapped around your headband. Yes, you read that right. This is actually such an easy way to make the most out of your headband(s). I own only one headband but by wrapping different scarves around it, it seems like I have a dozen of them.  As for the two outfits I'm going to show to you, they are both summer ones. The colour palette for these looks is pretty neutral, but I jazzed it up by choosing printed white items. I don't know what it is about the combination of tote bags and fashion illustrations that I like so much. Maybe it is simply a matter of combining two things that I love. I adore tote bags for their practicality, I like to carry one with me (often tucked in my regular bag) at all times because you never know. We all know that the typical disposable plastic grocery bags are a huge no-no for the environment, so a tote bag is a must (even if just for grocery shopping).  I personally like to wear tote bags even on occasions that have nothing to do with grocery lists, but to each his own. As for fashion illustration, well I don't have to explain that. I have literally loved fashion illustration for as long as I can remember. Joining my creative skills with tote bags seemed logical! Today I'll take you to beautiful Blagaj, located only a short drive from Mostar city. Blagaj is a picturesque historical village located in Herzegovina region. This little green river oasis is an increasingly popular tourist destination and not without a reason. Blagaj village has got one of the strongest and most beautiful river springs in Europe. This stunning and potent water spring creates Buna river and is a impressive example of karst river formation. Right next to it you can find a historical dervish house (tekija) that is open all year round.  The dervish house dates back to the sixteenth century.  It placed right next to the entrance to the cave  where the river Buna springs from and it is an incredible site.
