What I wore today (new necklace) / Što sam danas nosila (nova ogrlica)

Today I'm presenting a new creation of mine to you. I have been working on this new statement necklace for a long time and now that it is finally finished I feel kind of relieved. I think this colourful necklace was the perfect finishing touch for this toned down outfit I wore today.  I tried to go for a sophisticated look, so that the accent is on this new pair of trousers. I would love to tell you the shop where I bought these pants that fit me like they were made for me but the truth is they were really custom made for me. Thank you Izeta, you're the best! In Mostar, Izeta needs no introduction...all the ladies know who I am talking about. My husbands kept telling me that I need to have a suit made for me, so I finally listened to him and ordered a blazer, pants and midi skirt from Izeta. It was a really nice experience. I enjoyed the measure taking (now I finally know how to make body measurements properly), fittings and all that. I could get used to  it.

Danas vam predstavljam novu kreaciju na kojoj sam dugo radila i pravo mi je malo olakšanje što je konačno gotovo. Mislim da je bila pravi modni dodatak za današnju malo umjereniju odjevnu kombinaciju. Nastojala sam postići softicirani izgled, kako bi do izražaja došle nove hlače. Voljela bih vam reći ime dućana u kojem sam našla hlače koje mi tako dobro pristaju kao da su šivane po meni, ali istina je da su stvarno šivane za mene i po meni. Hvala Izeta, najbolja si! U Mostaru ne treba posebno napominjati tko je Izeta, sve žene znaju za nju. Muž mi je stalno ponavljao da si moram naručiti odijelo po mjeri, pa sam ga konačno poslušala i naručila sako, hlače i midi suknju kod Izete. Baš mi je bilo zanimljivo, uzimanje mjera (konačno sam naučila kako se to ispravno radi), probe i to kad znaš da ćeš dobiti ono što zamisliš. Mogla bi se naviknuti na to.

1. Was war für Dich das Motiv, einen Blog zu erstellen?

When I started my blog, I didn't really know anything about fashion blogs or the world of fashion blogging. I saw an article with one vintage style fashion blogger and I liked her blog so much, I decided to open a little place of my own. When I started my blog, I didn't have any plans, I wasn't even planning to do outfits post. Moreover, I didn't even know what an outfit post was...I just wanted to write about fashion and clothes because that is something I always loved. With time, my blog has became more and more important to me and now I devote a lot of time and energy to it. When I think back, I'm happy that I didn't know anything about fashion blogging when I started because it was a great learning experience for me.

2. Wie reagieren Deine Freunde, Verwandten und Bekannten auf Deinen Blog?

In the beggining, I didn't tell anyone about my blog. I already had a lot of photographs that I could use because my husband and I always took photographs when we would go somewhere. So, I just started from that. With time, I told some of my friends and family members. Some of people I know discovered my blog my accident. The reactions were mostly positive, but I think some people, like my parents for example, still don't really know what a blog is.





3. Ist es Dir wichtig, ein Feedback auf Deine Beiträge zu bekommen?

Yes, getting feedback is very important. I treasure every comment and I'm grateful for the time that each and every person takes to leave it. I know that today it is very hard to find time and the fact I get so many amazing comments really means a lot to me. I feel very fortunate to have met so many amazing women because of blogging. Honestly, I think one comment a day would be enough to keep me blogging as long as that comment was genuine. Nevertheless, I must stress that I don't expect long comments. Sometimes one sentence is enough. I don't want people to feel obliged to comment every aspect of my post.  

5. Hast Du unerfüllbare Träume, die Du hier erzählen kannst?

One thing I do want is to learn how to sew properly and I plan to learn it soon. If only Santa Clause would be kind enought to bring me a sewing machine......

6. Wie schaffst Du es, neben all den vielen Dingen im täglichen Leben, noch einen so aufwändigen Blog zu betreiben?

To make time for the blog, I had to give up a part of my personal time. When you love something, you make the time for it. These days I don't watch TV....only from time to time some documentary. There isn't a single TV series that I watch...I simply haven't the time for  it.

4. Hast Du Träume, deren Erfüllung Du in nächster Zeit vorhast?

I have many dreams and plans, but I'm still not ready to share them. I'm working really hard right now, that is all I'm going to say. When you do something you love, that makes it easier.


7. Wie würdest Du Deinen Modestil beschreiben?

It is a difficult questions because I like different styles but I strive to be feminine. Obviously I sometimes wear pants and I don't opt only  for skirts and dresses, but I always like to feel like a woman and clothes that make me feel like that are my favourite ones. Now, that is relative because one can feel feminine in a tracksuit and sneakers or even wearing men's shoes....every woman has her own definition of feminity. With clothes I try to express my personality.

8. Welcher Trend geht Dir so richtig auf die Nerven?

There isn't a particular trend that I dislike, but I hate to see people wearing something just because it is popular even when it is obvious they dislike it or when it doesn't fit them.

9. Auf welche drei Dinge kannst Du überhaupt nicht verzichten?

When it comes to fashion of life? When it comes to fashion, 3 things I can't live without are heels, jewellery and colours. Heels are a must for me. Jewellery is also very important to me. Colours are another thing I can't live without. From time to time, I will wear a monochrome or all black outfit, but most of the time, I like to dress colourfully!

10. Belasten Dich die Ereignisse rund um die Flüchtlingssituation in Europa?

Yes, I feel quite depressed and powerless about the whole situation. I often think about this problem. If you don't mind Nadine, I think I should answer this question in a special post because it is very complex question. I think the situation with refugees affects us all.
