Photography (Spring is in the air) / Fotografija (Proljeće se osjeti u zraku)

Nature is getting ready to sing its ode to Spring once again. The instruments are tuned and the composition has already started (or so it seems). There is a switch in the rhythm, a change manifested in the air and the warmth that has started to crawl up our skin when the sun is at its peak. The air however is still fresh. Surely up in the mountains the songs of ice and snow are still sang. The river has gotten enormous, like a snake that has eaten more then it should. I know what it means...the magically white snow in the mountains is melting...and I wonder how is it that the older I get my eyes seem to get more and more curious. I carry my cam to the supermarket with me, taking a shortcut trough an abandoned railway... and today again on my way to the store I steal a moment to glance at the shiny reflections on the water. I try  to store every image in my head (without intention), for what purpose I'm not sure... Shapes, colours...they seem somehow comforting. Sometimes they stare at me from a blank piece of paper. In this materialization there seems to be something calming. In the finality of the act of creating, of something being shaped...Nevertheless the mind is being drawn to the courts of chaos. Infinity...for what is the material world? The very atoms in us play with life. The more scientists study the atom, the more they find it consists...Does anything final and frozen even exists? Anything captured by a fixed shape?

Oblici, boje, nekako me tješe. Ponekad gledaju i mene sa praznog papira. U ovoj materijalizaciji nešto me smiruje. U konačnosti čina stvoranja, oblikovanja... Ipak um privlače dvori kaosa. Beskonačnost...jer što je materijalni svijet? sami atomi u nama igraju sa životom i što ih više znanstvenici proučavaju više pronalaze u njima. ..Postoji li uopće išta konačno i zamrznuto...išta uhvaćeno određenim oblikom?

  3. Amazing photos dear.x In days like this, Spring seems to be just around the corner. However after a couple of days it starts raining again and everything seems so dark and Winter-y! I love taking long walks through the parks and spending a few moments just staring at random things, like flowers, trees..it's my favourite way to relax and just enjoy the simple things. As we move on, we take simple things more and more for granted however those things are the ones that can bright up your whole day completely! Have a lovely week dear.x

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.

KAFKA ON THE SHORE, A NOVEL BY HARUKI MURAKAMI (BOOK REVIEW & OUTFIT PROPOSAL)

Hello, my darlings! I will be sharing two things with you today: a book review and an outfit post. This cozy outfit proposal features two printed items: a printed scarf and a skirt. The bluish scarf was a gift from a friend and I like how it looks with this camel coat (another gifted item). The wool/silk printed skirt is old, a creation from fashion house Edi. You had a change of seeing this unique floral print on the blog here , here and here. Under the camel coat I have worn this white blouse and this red blazer.  I completed the outfit with a red beanie and high brown boots.  It has gotten colder in Croatia even on the shore. Speaking of the shore, Kafka on the Shore is the novel I will be reviewing today.
MURAKAMI, A WRITER THAT REMINDS ME OF A CAT
Murakami is a writer whom most readers either love or dislike. Options are rather divided when it comes to Murakami, some say he is genius, other claim all his novels are alike. Do you know of whom does Murakami reminds me? Of a cat! He…

AN AUTUMN OUTFIT AND A BOOK REVIEW (EAST WEST BY SALMAN RUSHDIE)

Hello darlings! It's suddenly gotten a lot colder here, but I still have one warm autumn styling proposal to share with you. I wore this cute neutral outfit while the sun was still shining bright. On that lovely sunny day, I decided to pair my white (authentic) folklore shirt with a striped mini, dark leggings and a dark green vest. I finished this look with my brown boots and a tartan belt. Besides this outfit, I will share another book review on my blog today. East West by Salman Rushdie also happens to falls into category of magic realism. I'm no stranger to Salman Rushdie,  I read Midnight's children a while back and I started but never finished Satanic Verses. This is the first time I read his short stories, though.  I really liked this collection and I can't wait to tell you all about it.

THE STORY OF MY OUTFIT- HOW I WORE IT BEFORE First, a few more words about my comfy but feminine styling. When you're looking for comfort, shoes are a good place to start. I…

THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ BY L.FRANK BAUM (BOOK REVIEW)

Today I'll review a true classic of children's literature: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, a book by L. Frank Baum. I have read this book fairly recently, so it is still fresh in my mind. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. I actually enjoyed it a lot, so my book review is also  a book recommendation.  This classic of children literature is such a well rounded tale. You can read The  Wonderful Wizard of Oz for free on the pages of project Gutenberg here (that's also the source for the quotes I'm going to use).

First, a few words from the author himself:  Folklore, legends, myths and fairy tales have followed childhood through the ages, for every healthy youngster has a wholesome and instinctive love for stories fantastic, marvelous and manifestly unreal. The winged fairies of Grimm and Andersen have brought more happiness to childish hearts than all other human creations.Yet the old time fairy tale, having served for generations, m…
