My Angel / Anđele moj

Kažeš mi nije, nije, nije nestalo sunca
Srce se smije, smije, smije, s tobom kad kuca
Ljubavi moja, anđele moj
Ljubavi moja, anđele moj

* stihovi pjesme Anđele moj klape Kampanel

You say to me: No, no, no, the sun is still here
The heart is laughing, laughing when it beats by your side
My love, my angel
My love, my angel*

*lyrics from a song My Angel performed by Klapa Kampanel

  3. I believe in the existence of angels and your drawing is as usual wonderful! Have you drawn your guardian angel? I like it, that there is so much lilac in the drawing because I believe white and lilac are the colours of the life-task.

    1. I didn't have my own guardian angel in mind, but who knows? maybe subconsciously I did. Usually when I draw my mind is almost completely blank.

I like lilac too, I didn't know that it symbolizes life task, but maybe that is appropriate because I had been thinking about my life goals recently.

  6. This illustration - so beautiful - reminds me of a song (Goodnight my angel by Billy Joel) that I love and of the person this songs conveys to me - my mum. She was very beautiful, like the woman in your drawing. Scusa Ivana, a volte dimentico che parli Italiano <3

  9. oh, this drawing looks impressive! in some psychological books lilac color is characterized as depressive, tough shade. But I personally find it really deep and beautiful)
    Have a fabulous time, Ivana!

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.

My fashion illustration of the day + book review / Moja modna ilustracija dana + ogled knjige ( Le Diable au corps) 6.12.2016

This morning I read an amazing novel. Le Diable au corps (translated as The Devil In the Flesh) is a novel by Raymond Radiquet. Believe it or not, this was by first book by this French writer. I don't think I even heard of him before, which is odd, but well, it happens. In his time, Raymond was quite a celebrity and he is still considered as one of the important French writers of that period. Did I like this novel? Quite frankly, I loved it. I just couldn't put this novel down. I must have read it an hour or so. I got up a bit more earlier this morning so I actually had time to read it with my morning coffee (it is not a very long novel but still it is amazing how easy it was to find one's self glued to those pages). Perhaps I should make it a habit, getting up more early so I can read more.
Jutros sam pročitala divan roman. Đavo u tijelu  (naslov izvornika Le Diable au corps) je roman Raymonda Radiqueta. Vjerovali ili ne, ovo je moj prvi roman ovoga pisca. Mislim da nika…

Fashion illustrations of the day (markers)

Hello darlings! How are you? Can you believe that February ends today? This month has just flown by. I know it's the shortest month in the year but still. Today I'm going to share 3 fashion illustrations and sketches with you. The medium for all of them is marker on paper. I don't work with markers that often, but sometimes it is good to try something different. The fashion sketches I'm sharing are all about 3 colours: purple, green and red. Spring is in the air, so this is my reflection on all those trends for the new season. The first illustration shows a girl wearing a purple and blue jumpsuit. The second illustration features a girl wearing a transparent green dress with a top and a skirt under that dress. The third illustration shows two girls in red gowns.

February Recap (art & DIY projects & outfits)

I've put a lot of effort into blogging this February, I hope it shows. As far as the content goes, February was similar to January, mostly a mix of my illustrations and outfit posts (here). This month I was full of positing ideas and I managed to make many of them happen. I feel pretty good about that. The only thing I feel bad about is making my blog monolingual and not using my other languages, but translating texts from English to other languages takes such a long time. It is so much easier to just write in English.  Hopefully, I'll manage to change that and make my blog multilingual again. I need to organize my time better. Fingers crossed. For March I already have a few posts prepared. You can expect more art (mostly fashion illustrations) & outfit posts.

DIY PROJECTS
I shared two DIY projects in February, one about making a Barbie dress, the other was about how to paint a plant container. I don't have any DIY projects prepared for March, but I'm sure that I…
