Marni Resort 2014

* photos belonging to Marni

This collection by Marni really captures my attention. I've picked a few favourites, but really all of the pieces are just amazing. I just love the choice of colours, that bold orange in particular, somehow it feels both elegant and fresh.

The siluette of the clothes is beautiful...even that all black outfit simply stands out. It is that kimono inspired belt that makes a stand, I think, it is such a perfect accessory to these wonderful cuts. The appeal of this collection is pretty obvious. It is clean but interesting, classic but  with a new twist.

  1. Sooooooo beautiful! :D Wonderful, elegant.. very nice colours :D Thanks dear! :D

  2. E' una collezione molto bella, mi piace!

  3. Super izbor! :)

  4. Prva mi se najviše sviđa mada nikad ne bi ovakvo nešto obukla, nije moj stil nimalo :)

  5. Joj sve je to meni lijepo vidjeti na fotkama i drugim ljudima, ali mi se ne čini udobno at all, a ja preferiram udobnost!

    1. mislim da bi trebalo probati za vidjeti, ali zasada ništa od toga:)

  6. I find some clothes a bit boring and baggy but I liked the sunnies in the first picture.
    Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on my latest post!

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.

Happy Easter Monday everyone! Today I'll talk about how to have more sustainable Easter week celebration. I'll share some of my tips as well as my 'green' Easter day traditions. Before I get into sharing those tips, let me just say that traditional Easter customs are more likely to be environmentally conscious. So, tradition is a great way to look for inspiration. Ask your elders, relatives and friends about their Easter traditions, they can give you useful tips, advice and inspiration. Naturally, internet is also a great resource for environmentally friendly Easter. There are a lot of creative people out there that are constantly coming up with sustainable decor and recipes, so why not tap into that? Feel free to share your Easter traditions as well. A great thing about collecting green tips is that most of them can be applied to any festivity!
My Easter day 'green' ideas include: using natural egg dyes, using recycled Easter decor, not being wasteful with fo…

Luckily for me, Mostar is an excellent Easter day destination. You see, I had travel plans for this Easter weekend, but I caught a bad cold so I decided to stay in the city I'm currently based in. That's actually not a bad thing because (if you ask me) Mostar makes for a great Easter day destination. Naturally, I've would have loved to visit my family, but since that wasn't possible, I'm happy to be spending Easter in Mostar. I've already cleaned and decorated my home for Easter so I'm all set. I've also prepared an outfit proposal but more about that later on. First I'll talk a bit about Mostar. Why is Mostar such a great spring destination? I can think of a number of reasons, but from top of my head I would say wonderful climate, beautiful landmarks and interesting history. Mostar is gorgeous in spring time. With its seven rivers and a number of lovely parks, Mostar can feel like a city oasis.

 Spending Easter in Mostar is something I would defin…

EN In my last post, I've wrote about sustainable ways to celebrate Easter and today I'll show you what I wore for Easter. Typically I like to wear dresses for Easter day, but this year I decided to suit up. You have already seen a part of my Easter outfit in my last post, mainly the white linen folklore shirt I bought a few years ago (from a nice Croatian lady who specializes in making traditional and folklore garments). I believe you know that I have a thing for traditional and folklore clothing. As for the rest of my Easter styling, I shopped my closet to pick up this navy blazer. I paired it with navy flares I originally bought to wear to work. Good thing that my personal style isn't a casual one, and I actually enjoy wearing business/ formal wear I buy for work. If you look closely, you'll see that the blazer and the pants are not the same shade of navy blue, but slightly different. This blazer isn't actually a part of a suit, but often I like to create my own…
