WIWT: RED FLORAL BLOUSE, OZZ PANTS AND STARTAS SNEAKERS

Image
Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers. Today we'll do a simple outfit post. What I wore today? Well, I wore three outfits actually (you'll see the other two soon enough).  This is what I was wearing this morning while we were driving through Neretva canon on our way back to Mostar. A travelling outfit, if you will. Once again, I shopped my closet for this outfit. I mixed and matched two sets to create this outfit. The red floral blouse is from a vintage floral set (worn here ), the tea green pants are from Ozz brand set (previously worn as a part of a set here  here ) and the striped sneakers are from iconic Croatian brand Startas (worn previously here ).  It was a very comfortable outfit, perfect for travelling! Not that I put much thought into it. To be perfectly honest, this was the only clean pair of clothes I had after spending six days in a medical and spa hotel (where I accompanied my husband who was sent there by his doctor). I didn't enjoy my stay there much and...

BOOK REVIEW: MURDER IN THREE ACTS, A NOVEL BY AGATHA CHRISTIE

Image
Today I'm back with a book review: Murder in Three Acts (or Three Act Tragedy) , a novel by Agatha Christie.  This novel was originally published under the title Three Act Tragedy in 1935 but since it was adapted for television (in 1986) as  Murder in Three Acts ., it has also been printed under that alternative title.  If murder mystery is your genre, you simply cannot go wrong with Agatha Christie. When I was in middle school, Agatha Christie was a popular choice among us kids. However, I realized that I enjoy her writing just as much as an adult. Among Agatha Christie's works, my favourite books are those with the legendary Belgian detective Poirot.  Earlier this year I reviewed Hercule Poiroit's Christmas . Today I will review this 1935 novel. Funny to think it's almost 100 years since it has been published!  I will also share two summer outfits with you, both featuring skirts from designer Stanka Zovko paired with ruffled floral blouses and...

A PALE BLUE GRECIAN DRESS + 17 WAYS TO STYLE LEOPARD HEELS

Image
Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers. Today I'll show you an outfit I wore a week or so ago for a lunch date with my husband. Not that I need a reason to dress up. Once again I opted for this midi Grecian style dress . I accessorized with a blue necklace and a pair of earrings.  I wanted to give this pair of  leopard heels  another wear. Browsing through my archives, I was surprised to learn that I already wore this pair 17 times (perhaps even more because I don't always photograph my outfits). That means I have to wear them 13 times more to get to 30 wears. I have no doubt that I will be able to do that.  It's always good to strive for 30 wears because of fashion sustainability. I'm sure I'm neither the first nor the the only blogger who does think kind of thing. Among blogs I follow, sustainable fashion is a regular topic (or a way of life for some). I know Mica does 30 wears regularly , Sheila does fashion flashbacks, Marisa started showing different ways to w...
