Today I'm going to show you how you can make an old denim skirt a bit more fun. All you need is some material ( I chose a flowery pattern because I like it but anything goes really), a needle and a thread... You don't have to be neat, you don't have to use a sewing machine, you can sew it by hand in no time.  Just pick a material you like, cut out a shape you like and really you can attach it in a few minutes. I guess glowing it is also an option, but to me this just seems more simple... and really it is low cost DIY. (The chance is that you'll have everything you need at home). The star of today's post is (again) my hometown Split. This time it is in the background...but still it is quite a city even in the background:) I'm thinking about doing a similar post but about Mostar, what do you think? Baseball caps...don't know what it is about them but I love them. Do you like wearing hats? Anyway, the weather has been quite crazy like everywhere else it seems. Being rainy and cloudy, there really wasn't any reason to wear a summer hat, but hey why not do it for the fun of it? Rainy weather....Don't let it get you you and ...Have a wonderful weekend! Volite li nositi ih?  Danas je bilo oblačno i kišno i zapravo nije postojao opravdani razlog za stavljanje slamnatog šešira na glavu, ali zašto da nas to spriječi?...Uglavnom, vrijeme je ovdje u Splitu kao i svudje čini se posve ludo....ali nedajte se smesti i uživajte u vikendu!

Today just a few photos...I've picked up some new novels from the library the other day and with all this rain we've been having, they will sure come in handy...I wonder how long will these rainy days last... Danas samo par fotografija snimljenih prije ovih kiša, na povratku iz knjižnice, a romani će mi dobro doći jer kiša ne prestaje...pitam se koliko će trajat ovi kišni dani...

Yesterday I went to visit a few people that live near Mostar and being a perfect spring day I had the chance to admire the mountains and take a few photographs. I wore a DIY shirt that I had hand painted a long time ago and I had also put some buttons on the collar this winter....and that makes me think... The DIY shirt was once actually just a plain white shirt and a part of Wind jet uniform. I worked for Wind jet years ago, well the airline that I worked for worked for them so...and that reminds me (today is my digression day) ...I support the strike of Croatia airlines flight attendants. They already work for practically nothing while the directors and managers (who knows how many of them there are) have high paychecks. It is important that the workers organizes strikes because when they're united the management has no option but to rethink their actions.
