41 WAY TO WEAR A WHITE TUNIC BLOUSE (FOR ALL SEASONS)

Fashion is a word full of meanings. Even if we narrow its definition only to the context of clothes, fashion remains a word rich in meaning. What do we talk about when we talk about fashion? I've tried to answer this question on this little blog of mine on a number of occasions. Sometimes fashion is likened to art, sometimes criticized as something superficial. While some put fashion on a pedestal, others criticize it. There are many ways to look at it. Fashion can even be seen as something controversial, especially when we are talking about fashion as an industry. Certainly fast fashion is something to be worried about in the context of pollution.

Discussing issues in fashion industry is something that makes sense to me but I don't like when people critize someone's interest in clothes as design. The issues in fashion industry  shouldn't be taken as a sign that fashion is bad as such, just that industry needs to make some changes in the way it functions. Not just the industry, but the modern society as well. We need to change the way we consume fashion created by the fashion industry.

On the other hand, there is also the individual fashion. Something not related closely with the fashion industry. There's a more personal way to look at the clothes, one not connected to the trends. Perhaps that is what we need to do. Think about how clothes can make us feel better, what can they do for us. Develop a more meaningful connection with clothes, learn to care for our garments- perhaps even learn how to make them.  We should learn to respect the whole clothing making process.

Creating stories with clothes, that's what I loved about fashion. It's great that rewearing clothing items is a thing these days because honestly that is something that I have always loved doing. Sustainable fashion is an important topic these days. One of the best ways to be sustainable and eco-friendly in our choices is to shop our closet.  I've written about benefits of shopping our closets before and I will do it again for sure. Rewearing clothes is beneficial both for the environment and our wallet.

Consumerism sometimes gets the better of us. As a society we need to relearn how to appreciate what we have. Getting the maximum out of some garment is something we should all strive to, isn't it?   I've been wearing this off shoulder tunic a lot during the summer. It's the perfect summer and spring piece. Moreover, I realized that with the help of layering, I can turn it into an autumn and winter piece . Scroll down to find more inspiration to wear this tunics.

HOW I WORE THIS WHITE TUNICS BEFORE? See the plus forty ways I have styled it!

#1 WITH A VINTAGE MIDI DRESS, A SCARF, DRIVING LOAFERS AND A STRAW BAG
Above you can see how I styled it with a vintage skirt for a visit to fortress Stolac back in 2019.What was the reason for my visit? A medieval fair called Tarča. This was my second visit to this lovely historical city located in Herzegovina. If you remember, I visited it and  blogged about it last year ( feel free to check these two posts to find out more: MEDIEVAL FAIR IN STOLAC, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA & STOLAC MEDIEVAL FAIR PART TWO).
#2 WITH A GREY MINI SKIRT, A WHITE BAG AND FLORAL SANDALS
I wore this outfit for a walk around town. It was such a comfy look. I didn't wore this tunics off shoulder this time, opting to wear it higher on my shoulders. I like how toned down the colours in this outfit are (for me at least). The colourful details on the tunics match well with these printed sandals, though.I bought these art sandals last spring and I plan to wear them as often I can before the summer ends. The white leather bag I'm sporting was a gift. Another thing I loved about this look is my DIY headband. I do enjoy customizing my stuff. It is a great way to make our outfits more unique.
These kind of 'x ways to wear a y items' posts can be a good way to introduce fresh styling ideas.  An easy way to shop your closet is to choose an item you really like and try to create different outfits with it. I got this white ruffled tunics as a part of a collaboration one summer. Once I figured out that I can wear it both as a dress and a blouse, it quickly became one of my summer favourites. If you are creative enough, you can turn all your dresses into blouses this way (by tucking them in your skirt and eliminating a need for an underskirt or a slip in the process). It is a fantastic way to save up on luggage and closet space  as well.  Another thing I like about this tunics is that it can be worn  two ways: as an off shoulder item and as a regular one.

#3 WITH PINK HEELS (WORN AS A DRESS)

The outfit bellow is one of those looks that are so easy to put together. If you want to dress up your  white tunics or dress, all you need is a pair of stilettos. Grab a little clutch and you're ready to go. An outfit like this one would make a great date look. It is easy to transition it as well. Just wear a jacket, a blazer or a coat on top and you're all set for a hot autumn date.

#4 WITH WHITE JEANS , BROWN SANDALS AND A BLUE BAG

My summer outfit proposal is an all white styling. All white outfits are perfect for summer, don't you agree? This lovely dress is technically not all white, it has some interesting print that looks like embroidery but I think a touch of colour always looks nice, even more so in an otherwise all white styling. Anyhow, I paired this off shoulder white dress with white jeans. This vintage pair of white jeans has proved an ideal pairing for summer dresses. To make this white styling even more summery,  I accessorized with earrings and a beach bag. It was a very comfortable outfit to wear, perfect for an evening stroll. This dress can also be paired with leggings, or even worn on its own.
#5 WITH CROPPED JEANS AND A SCARF HEADBAND

On the photograph above, you can see outfit number five. Here I paired this tunics with a pair of cropped jeans for a visit to Buna river (one of my fav destinations). I also styled my scarf as a headband to do a more sustainable twist on the headband trend. THE STORY OF AN OUTFIT: SCARF HEADBAND, RUFFLED TUNICS, BOROMINA SANDALS AND CAPRI JEANS
I'm going to show you why it is a great idea to wrap a scarf around your headband. It will not only give your headband a fresh look, it is also a more hygienic option. I know that not everyone washes their headbands (they should because human hair contains natural oils). It is easier to wash a scarf than a headband so there you go. You can just wrap different materials around the headband(s) you have and you will end up with endless unique and beautiful headbands. Headbands have been trendy for a while, so if you want to jump on the trend keep in the mind that you don't actually have to buy multiple ones. It seems a more sustainable thing to do, doesn't it?

#6 WITH A VINTAGE RED FLORAL SKIRT AND BROWN SANDALS AND BAG

Outfit number 6 shows you another way to style this white off shoulder dress /tunics!  I already wore it with white jeans, and today I'm going to show you how to wear it with a red floral skirt. This vintage floral skirt comes from a matching set (I'll show you more photographs bellow). If you own a matching set, there is no need to limit yourself to wearing it in the same way. You can always mix and match. For example, in the outfit you can see bellow, the floral details on the off shoulder dress/blouse match really well with the floral details on the skirt. It's a different floral print, but it looks nice worn together. At least I think so! White and red is always a winning combo if you ask me. There is something about the combination of those two colours that is always eye-catching. Throw in some blue and caramel details and I'm happy as I can be. I guess I'm just a girl who loves colours.

#7 WITH A VINTAGE MINT BLAZER, BLACK  LEGGINGS AND BW SNEAKERS

This is another outfit I wore for a walk  (I'm very keen on walking). Bellow you can see me pairing this tunics with black leggings, sneakers and a vintage mint blazer. It was such a comfy look! Transitioning outfits really aren't that difficult. Most of the time, you can get away with recycling your summer outfits. More often than not, all you need to turn your summer outfits into an autumn one is a pair of tights (or leggings), a  nice blazer and appropriate shoes. You don't have to panic and buy everything in the store just because season changes. When in doubt, don't buy. Just remember to buy only those clothing items you are sure you will love and wear. Fast fashion is a habit we must try to break.

#8 WITH VINTAGE WHITE JEANS, A BLACK BAG AND FLORAL SANDALS
Another outfit proposal is something I wore for an International meeting of youth in Međugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was an amazing event with thousands of people from all over the world and million of viewers. This all white styling has done a great job of keeping me fresh. I've really embraced white and light shades this summer. One thing I would emphasize about this outfit is a necklace I designed and made myself (many years ago). It pays off to be creative and crafty!

#9 WITH A VINTAGE PINK KNIT AND BELLISSIMA SKIRT

OUTFIT IDEA #9: PINK CARDI PAIRED WITH A WHITE OFF SHOULDER TUNICS, BELLISSIMA SKIRT AND HEELED BOOTS

Outfit proposal number 9 is something I wore last Spring. I remember how happy I was to wear this outfit. It was a sunny day after many a rainy one and  I felt like wearing a properly spring outfit. This is what I have come up with. I wore a white off shoulder tunic but not exactly off shoulder. I adjusted it a bit higher on my shoulders and I let the pink vintage cardigan fall a bit lower. I was quite proud of myself of figuring a way to wear this lovely white tunics over this lovely pink vintage knit. This skirt seemed like a good option as well and since it was a bit fresh I wore it with boots. I also wore a red floral choker necklace I designed and made myself when I was a teenager. I still remember being complemented on it from exam teachers when I took my finals at my high school (a long time ago). I plan to repeat this outfit with warmer weather shoes one of these days (when it stops raining).

#10 WITH A BLACK A-LINE DRESS, LEOPARD HEELS  AND BURGUNDY TIGHTS & JACKET

It features some creative spring layering. I'm quite proud of myself for figuring out that I can wear this white tunics under one of my A-line dresses.  It's all about three colours: burgundy, black and white. Sure, there are other colours in this outfit that come in the shape of details on my tunics  (and a bit of pattern with the leopard heels) but the focus is on these three colours. I think the combination of these colours is quite elegant and perfect for transitional weather. Honestly, I felt so dressed up and pretty in this spring styling. This could be my favourite outfit of the year 2021 so far, I kid you not. I'm very happy to report that I shopped my closet again. So nice I have these lovely photographs as a reminder. My husband and I had the tradition of strolling around and enjoying little trips years before I started my blog, but my blog made me realize how I'm sometimes such a poser.

We started our walk in Šantićeva street. We love this street because there is no traffic there. In fact, I often use it for posing. Don't worry, I'm not the type to pose in a busy street and risk being hit by a car or something. There is hardly any and in most cases no traffic in this street. My husband loves it because it makes him feel nostagic. It's onle of the places in town that hasn't changed much. Now, you know the secret spot where to pose for awesome pics in Mostar city. Should you visit Mostar, you will be all set. I have revealed all the best (and lesser known) spots in this place. #11 WITH A FLORAL SKIRT, HEELED BOOTS, YELLOW BLAZER AND BURGUNDY BAG

Outfit proposal is something I wore for a visit to Čapljina. This is a nice transitional look that I might copy one of these days. I quite like the combo of this white tunics and the floral skirt. The boots and the yellow blazer are a nice way to style this tunics and turn it into an autumn piece.

On the other hand, the outfit below and my outfit proposal number 12 is a clear summer styling, a straw hat and all.
OUTFIT FORMULA: OFF SHOULDER TUNICS TUCKED IN / VINTAGE SKIRT/ STRAW HAT /BOROMIRA SANDALS

#modaodaradosti
#12 WITH A VINTAGE PENCIL SKIRT, BOROMIRA SANDALS AND A STRAW HAT

OUTFIT NUMBER 13 you can see below shows a more complex layering. I don't know if you can see it, but here I'm wearing a black dress on top of this white tunics and then a maxi skirt on top of it. So, it's double layering.

#13 LAYERED UNDER A BLACK DRESS WITH GYPSY SKIRT ON TOP &  BLACK HEELS

Another white tunics outfit makes for outfit proposal number 14. You can see how easy it is to transition this tunic into autumn. All I did here was to pair it with a red blazer, a denim skirt and heels. An outfit like this one is appropriate for autumn and spring. As you can see bellow, I had my umbrella with me. If you like this look, you can also have a look at 10 WAYS TO WEAR A RED BLAZER.

#15 WITH A FLORAL SKIRT AND BEIGE DRIVING LOAFERS
Outfit proposal number 15 shows me layering this white tunics under a floral skirt and basically wearing it as a top, something I do fairly often. In fact, that's probably how I wear this white tunics most of the time. For this styling, I paired the skirt and white tunics with burgundy tights, driving loafers and a cute bag. It was a nice outfit for strolling the city.

Outfit proposal number 16 shows you how I wore this white tunics for hiking. Here you can see me wearing a sensible hiking outfit suitable for summer weather. Once again, I shopped my closet. Last time I wore this white ruffled tunics was in this post when I layered it under the dress. This time I tucked it into a maxi gypsy skirt (last worn here in April). I finished the look with no name sneakers (worn here) and a mini black bag.  I felt really comfortable in this outfit. Maxi skirts are a very practical item for summer. Moreover, it turned out to be quite photogenic, maybe because of the ruffles. The green shades on this maxi skirt match the green waters of the lake quite nicely and the city itself is white like my tunics. Oh, Mostar is such a stunning and photogenic city. I have to make sure my outfits are photogenic too.

#16 WITH A GYPSY SKIRT AND SNEAKERS

Now, we come to the outfit number 17, an outfit I wore for a summer visit to Hutovo blato nature park.  My outfit was all about being comfortable but feeling stylish at the same time. I choose to wear a striped cap for additional sun protection. During summer, a pair of sunglasses is a must and so are light clothes. I wore my trusted  white tunics, pepita short and driving loafers.
THE STORY OF MY OUTFIT- HOW I WORE THESE ITEMS BEFORE?
THE STRIPED CAP- I wore it before hereherehere here and here
THE PEPITA SHORTS- I picked up these shorts in a second hand shop that is no longer open. I was very happy to find them because I was looking for high waisted shorts that weren't too short.  I actually wear these shorts all year around, even in winter. You can see how I styled these pepita shorts herehere here and here

#17 WITH SHORTS AND DRIVING LOAFERS

What about outfit number 18? Below you can see another summer styling, this one was something I wore for a lunch date with my husband and it was posted alongside my fashion illustrations in one of those Friday Fashion Illustrations posts.
#18 WITH A BLUE SKIRT AND WHITE HEELED SANDALS

#19 WITH A STRIPED SKIRT AND STRAW HAT

I think every opportunity to dress up should be seized. Carpe diem- seize the day. I like to dress up even when I'm at home or in the nature. Why should we wear nice clothes just for places someone deemed fancy? In my book, nature is by definition beautiful, far more beautiful than any place deemed fancy. So, it makes sense to dress the part. My home is a pretty fancy place in my book as well.  What does dressing up mean anyway? I suppose 'dressing up' means different things to us all, doesn't it? For some it's more about clothes, for others it's all about choosing the right make up, hairdo or accessories such as pretty jewellery or a posh bag. My personal definition of it is doing or wearing whatever makes you feel dressed up or beautiful. In my case, it's mostly wearing clothes or accessories that I genuinely enjoy and that make me feel like a Barbie of some sort. A nice hairdo doesn't hurt either. I'm still struggling with iron and I found that braiding my hair makes my life a bit easier. My hair is typically naturally straight but with my iron this low, it is harder to manage and tends to get tangled. So, braided hairstyles come to the rescue. I always get asked whether I'm wearing extensions when I braid my hair. No, that's all my hair. Ever since it got warmer and sunnier, I'm protecting my hair and my face by opting for a wide brim straw hat. I do love straw hats. If you live in a Mediterranean climate, wide brim hats are absolutely a must. Fedora hats are cute, but remember that every extra inch on your hat reduces the chances of you getting skin cancer. The bigger is often the better when it comes to choosing a hat that will protect you against the summer heat. Speaking of heat, the day I wore this outfit was pretty warm. Yes, it was quite warm that day, a proper late Spring day. We chilled by Bunica river seeking refreshment. Buna recreational area is a great place to visit. It's always so green and beautiful here. I think my outfit was well selected. Comfortable enough to do some hiking, but pretty enough to make me feel happy and dressed up. I don't regret wearing tights as I generally find them comfortable even in warmer weather. I got used to wearing tights when I was a flight  attendant. Plus, tights are basically shape-wear. Maybe you don't think of them that way, but they can help to smooth everything. All in all, I was happy with this comfy but feminine outfit. Buna was the destination for the first 'weekend trip', my husband and I took many years ago when I was an University student. Taking short trips has become one of us routines. We love to sneak out to nature, sometimes just for a few hours and come back feeling energized and refreshed. You don't always have to take a vacation, sometimes a few hours are all it takes to explore areas around you. My last post was from Croatia, but Bosnia and Herzegovina has a lot of great destinations as well. Buna is one of them. I love being a local tourist. Even before corona, I never really travelled abroad. I was always content to explore the beauty that was in my vicinity. I sort of live in two countries (I alternate between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia) but I do live by the 'be a tourist in your country'. It helps that I have two beautiful countries to live in but either of them would probably be enough for me. I know there have been so many negatives due to recent events in the world, but one good thing we can learn from all of this is to appreciate the place we have found ourselves in. Appreciate the place you live in. Every place is beautiful in some way. Spending time in nature is always a good thing for our mental and health wealth being. There are many natural oasis around us and often we don't really have to travel that far to find them.

#20 WITH A STRIPED SKIRT, BURGUNDY BAG AND BROWN SANDALS

Outfit 20 is a look I wore for a joint exhibition of us local painters here in Mostar.

#21 WITH A GREY PENCIL SKIRT, A STRAW BAG AND BLACK PEKO SANDALS

#22 WITH A BLUE MIDI SKIRT, TROPICAL PRINT SANDALS AND BURGUNDY BAG

THE STORY OF AN OUTFIT- SHOPPING MY CLOSET AGAIN

Once again, I shopped my closet for this look. This material of this midi skirt is a bit thick so I usually save it for colder months, but I figured I might give it a try. It turns out that I wasn't hot at all. I felt very comfortable in this styling. It probably helped that I wore the most comfortable sandals known to mankind for this walk. I layered my white tunics under this skirt (I'm close to thirty wears with this tunics!) under the skirt. I choose a burgundy bag I've had for years but still looks brand new. For accessories, I went for a long pink and purple necklace I made myself many years ago and a white straw hat (that was a practical choice because the sun is quite strong in Herzegovina)

HOW I WORE IT BEFORE?

THE WHITE TUNICS-  8 ways to style this tunics here, 3 ways to style it here. I'm so happy I'm close to thirty wears with this one.

THE BLUE MIDI VINTAGE SKIRT- last shown here. I've got this skirt from my sister-in-law. It's a size to be big, so I haven't gotten that much wear of it but on the other hand it's ideal for layering and oversize is often a more comfortable option in the summer.

TROPICAL PRINT SANDALS - worn here. I think I'm close to thirty wears with this pair.

BURGUNDY BAG- worn here. I've actually talked about this bag with my husband recently. We were both amazed by the fact that it doesn't look brand new- and I've had it for years.

HANDMADE  NECKLACE (I MADE IT ABOUT 17 YEARS OLD)- worn here. I need to take close ups of this beaded necklace, it's really pretty. I think I was about nineteen when I made it.

THE WHITE STRAW HAT- worn herehere and here.

#23 WITH A WHITE PENCIL SKIRT, TROPICAL PRINT SANDALS AND A BLUE BELT
This is the second time I paired this tunics with this vintage pencil skirt. You can see me holding  painting of mine. So, this is an outfit I wore to take this painting to the gallery.
#24 WITH FLARE JEANS, BURGUNDY BAG AND HEELED SANDALS
Outfit number 24 is another denim proposal. Denim and white matches quite nicely, wouldn't you agree?

THE STORY OF MY OUTFIT
I don't wear jeans often, but when I do, I often opt for flares. I love to pair jeans with dresses and tunics so that is what I did here. I took advantage of the fresh weather to wear this combo today and I must say I felt really nice. The two of us went for a walk, had lunch at Ruža restaurant and had a coffee date at Tempera cafe. It was a nice day.
THE WHITE TUNICS- (old). last worn here.
THE BURGUNDY BAG - (borsa store), last worn here.
THE FLARED JEANS last worn here (more ideas here)

THE NECKLACE (diy), originally a part of this dress

#25 WITH A BLACK BURGUNDY BAG AND DRIVING LOAFERS

OUTFIT #25 is another summer styling and here are the links for other items, proving that I've shopped my closet once again : BLACK PRINTED PENCIL SKIRT (second hand) BURGUNDY BAG / DRIVING LOAFERS

#26 WITH BLUE JEANS, STRIPED SNEAKERS AND MINT BLAZER

What to say about green and blue? These two gorgeous colours come in so many lovely shades. If you take another look at the above shared outfit, you might notice the other fashion illustration I'm holding, the one depicting a green and a blue outfit. Well, besides that illustrated look, I also have an outfit proposal featuring a combination of these two colours. This time I opted for a vintage mint blazer, a white tunics and a pair of jeans. I wore the blazer over the shoulders because it was a warm day and because I'm a fan of this unpractical trend.

#27 WITH STANKA ZOVKO SKIRT, MINI BLACK BAG AND BROWN SANDALS

I wore this outfit to say goodbye to summer back in 2021. I actually wore it recently to work. I got some compliments for the styling btw. So, you could say I was saying goodbye to summer once again. The only thing different in my styling were the accessories, I chose a more practical bag and sandals.

#28 WITH BLACK LEGGINGS AND STRIPED SNEAKERS

This is another sporty and casual styling I wore for a walk with my husband. It worked really well and I will definitely wear it again but as it is getting colder I will add a jacket. Now that I think of it, I wore a similar outfit while in Biograd, but that one was with heels. Apparently, I can live without heels.

#29 WORN THE OTHER WAY AROUND

I don't have much to say about the outfit number 29. It's another transitional styling, but with a twist. I'm wearing the tunics the other way around.
#30 WORN WITH A DENIM SKIRT, GREY TIGHTS  AND A PAIR OF PINK HEELS

As for outfit 30, it's a more dressed up version of a denim styling. Everything looks more dressed up with heels.

#31 WITH JEANS, BOOTS AND A LONG FLORAL CARDI

Outfit number 31 is an outfit I wore last spring but I didn't find time to share it. So, here it is now. I like the layering in this look. I don't have this cardi anymore. I left it with a girl who was my roommate this summer because I wanted her to have something of my own.
#32 WITH BLACK LEGGINGS, A GREEN SCARF AND A  YELLOW BLAZER
#34 WITH A BLUE MIDI SKIRT, LEOPARD HEELS AND A GREY BLAZER
#35 WITH BLACK SHORTS AND A WHITE TUNICS

OUTFIT NUMBER #34 IS SOMETHING I WANT TO WEAR AGAIN!

DIY BROOCH - made from recycled fabric
THE STRAW BAG- HERE

HOW I ILLUSTRATED IT BEFORE? I have actually illustrated one item from this outfit in the past. Can you guess which one? If you guessed the grey blazer, you were correct in your guess. I have illustrated this item in another outfit, i.e. the one where I paired it with a black ruffled dress.

Below you can see  3 outfits following the white tunics plus skirt formula. I like how this white ruffled tunics looks good with any kind of skirt. It seems to look just as cool paired with a leather skirt as it does with a more romantic floral skirt.
#36 WITH A BEIGE FLORAL SKIRT AND SUEDE HEELS/ #37 WITH A LEATHER SKIRT AND METAL HEELS #38 WITH A PINK FLORAL SKIRT

To finish this post, there are a few more outfits. I organized the photographs in a collage to shorten your scrolling time somewhat. I have worn these outfits below on different occasions. Some of them I'm posting for the first time so there won't be any links linking them to original posts.

#39 WITH A RED BLAZER AND SUEDE BOHO  HEELS
#40 WITH WHITE HEELS AND A BLACK MINI BAG
#41 WITH LEGGINGS,   MINT BLAZER AND BIKER BOOTS

That's all for today. Thank you for stopping by. Have a lovely day!

  1. Dearest Ivana,
you have found the perfect words for a sustainable approach to fashion. And with the help of your white tunic, you show us in a very impressive way how versatile a single piece of clothing can be and how it can be transformed again and again. Fast fashion is unimaginative, sad and environmentally destructive, but your sustainable way of shopping the wardrobe is creative and artistic! Thanks for your important post!
    All the best,

  2. Wow, Ivana, you've encompassed so much in just one post! You've tried to narrow down a definition of fashion (I tend to use "style" for personal fashion, and use "fashion" to refer to the cyclical industry), you've given us all a reminder to shop sustainably within our own closets, AND you've shown off over 40 looks with this amazing top! Impressed!

My favourite looks are with the white jeans, and as a dress. The wide collar/ruffle at the neckline is not really my own personal style, but I love how versatile it's been for you.

I just gave away a dress, some accessories and a bunch of clothes to friends recently - if items in your closet aren't working, then move them along, like you did with the long cardigan. :)

Thank you so much for all the lovely comments, my dear friend!

  6. Hey dear Ivana, how are you? I hope your week is going well :)

I loved the introduction of the post since this question often appears when we are discussing fashion. And I think the answer is not a single one, just as labels.... it is very difficult to put a label on something since life is too complex and fashion can be seen through different perspectives. But you really made a good point when talking about "consuming fashion".... that's probably the thing that we will regret in a few years. Now we are buying too much, specially with the rise of Shein or similar platforms and that honestly feels a little bit overwhelming, I mean the interesting thing about fashion and personal style is to get creative around the things that we have and build up a staple. Obviously we all do love to get new clothes, but your proposals to play around with the things that are a good part of your wardrobe is so valuable to me!

I love that this tunic blouse is on the middle point: you can consider it as a basic garment but on the other side it one of those iconic pieces that has such a vibing personality that it can be worn with just a pair of jeans and you are ready to go ;)

I loved many of the combinations, but probably the one with the grey skirt since it is so well balanced with block of colors and wearing something really simple on one part and really vibing on the other. But when you paired it with the red printed skirt it is a good option too ;)

I also liked the last pictures pairing the blouse with your art. That outfit with the denim skirt is also very nice Ivana! And your collages are lately funny and really dynamic :)

    Take care!

  7. Wow, what a great post, Ivana! I found myself nodding in agreement all along.
I've always loved your off-the-shoulder tunic as it appeared on your blog many times. Seeing all the ways you wore it together really hits home how versatile it is and, most importantly, how creative you are! xxx

  9. There are so many great outfits here, it's nice to see how creative you have been with this piece! I love rewearing things and trying to make it a little different each time I wear things too, but you are so good at coming up with different ways to wear it! :)

Hope you are having a lovely day :)

  15. Wow! You've really taken the tunic out for a spin in various outfit styles. I must say I enjoyed this post very much. I'm like you in that I shop my own closet as well. I've come to appreciate thrifting too and have found a little shop to get second-hand clothes. I make sure to let go some of my existing clothes that I've stopped wearing by donating and recycling. You are right, there's art in how we dress and perhaps, even better is to develop an appreciation for slow and mindful consumption of fashion by really wearing the clothes we have and taking good care of them. Thanks for the lovely reminder! I hope you are well and look forward to your next post :) Best wishes from Malaysia :) <3

Stai davvero bene in ogni look, comunque! :)
    Baci!

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.
