Today I have a simple autumn styling to share with you.You know that I'm all about shopping my closet , so you won't be surprised to learn that there is nothing new about my outfit. A tartan blazer is a must item in autumn. I wear this tartan blazer a lot and I have links with outfit posts to prove it ( here , here , here , here , here  , here , here , here  , here , here , here and here ) This time I wore it with a red flared top to spice things up a bit (see how I styled this red top before here , here , here and here ). Are you wondering what fabrics to reach for this Autumn? Corduroy items are perfect for creating cozy autumn outfits. So, I'm assuming most of you (if not all) have at least one pair of dark (cord) jeans.  How to style black corduroy flare jeans for autumn? Today I'll show you an easy autumnal styling. When in doubt go for a black and white styling, for it always look elegant. Here I paired my dark cord jeans with a white shirt and a white blazer. This classic colour combo allowed me to play with accessories a bit. I made things more interesting by adding statement earrings and a scarf in the mix. I also wore high heeled boots for the extra elongating effect. Alright, I'm quite tall, but this combo makes me look even taller. Flare jeans can be so flattering, especially high rise ones. Time for another reading update. Today I'll review three books: a novel, a collection of stories and a play. The novel Wild Life by Molly Gloss was my first work by this author. October Country is a work by author I was already familiar with. In fact some of you might remember that I have a great fondness for Ray Bradbury. His Fahrenheit 451 is one of my favourite dystopian novels of all times.  So, I was happy I was able to pick up a collection of his short stories. Finally, I read a play by Christopher Marlowe. This is another author I was already familiar with (I did study English language and literature). I enjoyed Marlowe's version of Doctor Faustus myth, so I decided to see what his others works are like. So far, I read one and a half play but I plan to finish them all by the end of the month. I was also rereading Shakespeare a lot lately because that is always a good idea. I do upload most of my reading on goodreads so you can check my reading progress there as well.
