Sometimes in life we cannot help feeling sad about something but just when it seems everything goes downhill, we are reminded of the potential that the human spirit posses as we withness the kindness and love people give when it is most needed...and our faith in the human race is restored. Where there is love, there is hope. A big thank you to everyone who has joined in to help the flood victims in BIH, Croatia and Serbia. Ponekad u životu ne možemo izbjeći osjećaj tuge zbog nečega, ali baš kada se čini da sve ide nizbrdo, nešto nas posjeti na potencijal koji ljudski duh dok svjedočimo dobroti i ljubavi koji ljudi daruju kad je najpotrebnije...i vraća nam se povjerenje u ljude. Gdje ima ljubavi, ima nade. Veliko hvala svima koji su se uključili da bi pomogli žrtvama poplava u BIH, Hrvatskoj i Srbiji.

water colours and pencil fashion illustration I've just now realized that most of my fashion illustrations have some kind of hill in the back. It is an interesting coincidence that both of the cities where I have lived for most of my life, Split (where I was born and raised) and Mostar (where I have spend my student years) have a dormant vulcano i.e. a hill that is clearly visible from almost every spot in the town. I suppose that got translated in my illustrations as well. As far as the outfit on the illustration goes, it's an rather simple one. I cannot thank you enough for all of your lovely comments, they do make me feel better whenever I feel blue...and my heart goes out to all the flood victims. I hope they know they're in our heart.
