Hello dear readers! I'm back with another book review. The Dinner, a novel by Dutch author Herman Koch was first published in 2009. This novel has been described as a bestselling phenomenon. Certainly, this novel has achieved international success.   The Dinner was not only successfully translated into many languages, it was also adapted to film. There are four notable film adaptations of this novel. Out of these film adaptations, the Dutch one was made first, followed by Italian, American (USA) and South Korean films. So, what kind of novel is it? What is the secret of its success? First of all, it's a dark novel. Reading the blurb, I gathered as much. However, I wasn't prepared for how dark it truly was. FRIDAY FASHION ILLUSTRATION: A CHERRY PRINT DRESS

Greetings my dear readers and/or  fellow bloggers! Happy 1st of August! Today I'm going to publish this post from my cellphone because I cannot connect my laptop to Internet for some reason. As regular readers of my blog know, fashion illustrating is not only something I do, it's something I have always done. I loved doing it when I was little, playing with paper dolls and all. I never really grew out of it, I just found more ways to do it. Over the years, I have gotten quite creative with fashion illustration, working with and exploring different media. The fashion sketch I'm sharing today is fairly simple.  It's a quick illustration of a white cherry A-line dress I had for ages. I have recently worn this dress to a visit to Split city.
