8 WAYS TO STYLE A WHITE RUFFLED TUNICS: SUSTAINABLE FASHION FILES

Image
Shopping our closets is a great way to be more sustainable. It is something I have always enjoyed doing but as of late, I've also been trying to show you how I do it.  These kind of 'x ways to wear a y' posts can be a good way to introduce fresh styling ideas. Let's get started! An easy way to shop your closet is to choose an item you really like and try to create different outfits with it. I got this white ruffled tunics as a part of a collaboration last summer. Once I figured out that I can wear it both as a dress and a blouse, it quickly became one of my summer favourites. If you are creative enough, you can turn all your dresses into blouses this way (by tucking them in your skirt and eliminating a need for an underskirt or a slip in the process). It is a fantastic way to save up on luggage and closet space  as well.  Another thing I like about this tunics is that it can be worn  two ways: as an off shoulder item and as a regular one. Today I'll show eight way

FASHION ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY: RED TURTLENECKS FOR AUTUMN

Image
Sometimes I miss those days when I took fashion illustration (and art in general) less seriously. When art felt more like a hobby, when I could draw something without being self-critical about it, without second guessing everything and without trying to study all the possible techniques to do it. However, once you start taking your art development more seriously, you inevitably get more critical about it. The more time and effort you invest into developing some skill, the more you expect results from yourself. It is only logical, I suppose, for there comes a time when art doesn't feel as easy to do as it used to, a time when you start to question your art and your skills. Suddenly, art becomes difficult.  You cannot have your cake and eat it. Not that I don't have fun with art anymore, but the whole process is growing more and more thought demanding. With every thing I learn, I discovered how much is there yet to learn. What I discovered is that art skills are much alike

VISIT KUPRES, A MOUNTAIN OASIS LOCATED IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA WITH ME!

Image
Do you remember my posts about Blidinje? Well, on that same day we visited Blidinje lake , Hajducke Vrleti and church of Saint Elias , we also went to Kupres, a gorgeous mountain oasis located in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Today I'll show you what to see and do when visiting Kupres. This mountain area is more oriented towards winter tourism, being a skiing destination and all that, but it is also a great destination to visit in summer, autumn and spring. The nature is incredibly beautiful! Kupres is a place I definitely recommend visiting even if skiing isn't your thing. Personally, I'm not into skiing, but I liked Kupres so much I plan to come back in winter. Ciao, cari lettori! Oggi mostrerò a voi cosa vedere e fare

8 WAYS TO WEAR A PUFFED SLEEVE BLOUSE (SUSTAINABLE FASHION FILES)

Image
Today I'll show you eight different ways to wear a striped puffed sleeve blouse/shirt. Striped items have a special place in my heart, even more so when they are vintage ones like this blouse.  As they say, stripes are an eternal classic. They can be worn in any season and can be a great choice to transition into autumn/fall with. Another thing I like about this vintage blouse? It is tailored. A tangible benefit of tailored shirts is that they put emphasis on your waist. I must admit that I quite liked this so called 'puffed sleeve' blouse trend. I've always been a fan of statement sleeves and puffed sleeves definitely make a statement. Plus, they are so feminine, aren't they?  Since I do own this vintage shirt, I didn't have to spend to be on trend. Isn't that often the case? As you know I'm a big believer in shopping your own closet and getting the most out of your clothes that way (that's kind of the point of my recent posts). I do always sho
