 Hi there! Today I'll share a review for a book I'm quite emotionally attached to. A Tale of Love and Darkness is a wonderful memoir ( I would call it an autobiographical novel) by Israeli writer Amos Oz. Published in 2002, this memoir has been translated in about 30 languages. Moreover, it has sold million of copies.    A Tale of Love and Darkness  chronicles much of Oz's childhood in the early days of state of Israel but it also explores the history of his family. Oz writes a lot about his relationship with his parents, especially with his mother.  There's also a movie adaptation (worth noting for those who are not inclined to love reading).   Now, I've read many books by Amos Oz (review for his novel  Fima  here), but among all of his books, this one seems the most significant to me. Moreover,   A Tale of Love and Darkness  remains my favourite one. What I particularly remember is the complexity of it. Plus, it's simply a perfect book for bookworms. Why it is

 Hi there! Today I'll review The Interpreter , a novel by Brian Aldiss . Published in 1960, this science fiction novel examines a future that's not too optimistic. While some authors believed that a contact with aliens will save us, others like Stanislaw Lem and brothers Strugatsky were not so optimistic. This novel was one of my summer readers. I enjoyed it, but not as much as I expected. I would recommend it, but mostly to fans of this writer. Today I'm taking you to Green Cathedral, near Imotski, Croatia. Built in 1995 in vicinity of Imotski town, this Catholic church without walls is quite a sight to behold. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful as well. We made a stop there while driving through Dalmatia and it was definitely worth it. While we were there, we only saw one family of tourists and they were local. So, I guess that the Green Cathedral is still under the radar.  If you're visiting Croatia and you're looking for some peace and quiet, this is an ideal location to visit. The only time this place is busy is during the feast of Assumption. That's actually the reason why this lovely church was built. The feast of Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary is one of the most important feasts for the locals. Not that you have to be in any way religious to visit this sight. It's just a serene and glorious place.  As much as I love the seaside, it's important to remember that there is more to Dalmatia
