TWO WAYS TO STYLE AN OVERSIZED COAT (SPLIT AND MOSTAR)

Today I finally managed to get to my computer and transfer all outfit photographs here, so this other set of photographs should be of better quality. Right now I'm really happy about finding the perfect oversized coat for me. When it first arrived, I thought that maybe I should have ordered a size smaller (that is L instead of XL) but now I'm happy I ordered this size because now I feel like this is it. This is the oversize coat I wanted. What do you think about this cut? Do you have an oversized coat? Do you plan to buy one? I wanted to get one forever, but if I wasn't sure will it work with my curvy figure. Well, sometimes we've got to break the rules. If we don't  gamble, we can never really have fun with fashion. Life is too short to wear boring clothes. 


Danas sam se konačno dočepala svog računala i prebaciti fotografije, pa bi ovaj drugi dio fotografija trebao biti bolje kvalitete. Trenutno sam jako sretna što sam uspjela pronaći odgovarajući kaput širokog kroja za mene. Kada je tek stigao, mislila sam se jesam li možda trebala naručiti manju veličinu (to jest L umjesto XL) ali sada sam sretna što sam naručila ovu veličinu jer mi se čini da je to kako treba biti i da je ovo taj kaput širokog kroja koji sam tražila. Sviđa li se vama ovaj kroj? Imate li takav kaput? Planirate li kupiti takav kaput? Ja sam ga već dugo htjela nabaviti, ali nisam bila sigurna kako će mi stajati s obzirom na obliju figuru. Nekad se isplati malo kršiti pravila i probati nešto drukčije. Moramo se malo kockati, inače se nikada i nećemo zabaviti s modom. Život je prekratak za dosadnu odjeću.

    I think you got the perfect size for an oversized coat, Ivana! I can't wear oversized anything due to my height because I usually end up looking like I'm drowning in the fabric. But you have the perfect height for this gorgeous coat!

    Great coat! Oversized is especially good for cold weather because you can fold them around almost like a little blanket. And I like the roominess because they coat seems warmer with the air space inside, if that makes sense!
    Great photos, especially just as the sun is going down - I love the light.

    Što veće to bolje... znaš da je to must kod mene :) Mogla si uzeti i xxl šta se mene tiče :) Kaput je odličan... osobno bih voljela da je malo duži, ali ako si ti sretna i ja sam... krasan je uzorak i izgleda mi fino toplo, a opet ne previše, baš za ovo vrijeme (dobro, ne baš ovo, ali onako kako bi trebalo biti u studenome)! :) U svakom slučaju, odlična akvizicija!

    Savršen je! Klasičan komad odeće ali nimalo dosadan. Baš je prava stvar :) Odlično se slaže sa tom haljinicom :) Ja imam jedan sličan ali je užeg kroja i malo duži. Što se tiče oversized kaputa, u te srhe koristim zapravo kaput mog muža koji je njemu tesan a meni baš dođe taman kada želim nešto šire :)

    Voljela bih da mogu reći da i meni stoje oversize kaputi ovako divno kao tebi, ali lagala bih. Imam jedan, obukla sam ga možda dva puta, ali to jednostavno nije to, ne stoji mi, ne osjećam se dobro u njemu i to je nažalost po njega bio kraj priče.

      znam na što misliš i ja ne bi nosila nešto u čemu se ne osjećam kako treba pa koliko god to bilo moderno, srećom u ovom se tako dobro osjećam, pa me i nije briga kako mi stoji, mada mislim da moj tip građe baš i nije za ovaj kroj i da mi puno bolje stoje strukirani... ali sve ovisi od kombinacije. Nekako sam ga uklopila u garderobu i drago mi je što je tako.

    Odličan je i super ti stoji, apsolutno si pogodila veličinu! :) Ja isto imam jedan karirani, baš sam ga danas nosila, ali nekako se više u njemu ne osjećam onako fantastično kao prošlu zimu, sad su mi draže strukirane varijante - nikad zadovoljna haha :D

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. FASHION ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY WATERCOLOUR: LONG DRESSES AND DE PROFUNDIS QUOTES!

 Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! It's almost ten. I've had a long week and I'm quite tired and sleepy. However, I'll try to wrap this post up for you tonight. What kind of post? Well, a post about art. Fashion art to be more precise.  I've been on a roll lately with my art posts. After a period of not posting my art at all, due to a variety of reasons, I started posting my art in every post. I got back to my destination art series, and now it's time for another post in my fashion art series. Friday Fashion Illustration  is somewhat of a regular feature on my blog. Today I'll share two watercolour pencil fashion illustrations of mine. I sketched both of them this Summer in my A3 mixed media sketchbook. I sketched the long yellow dress first, and then the blue and read one. The medium for both of them is watercolour pencils on paper, the same brand I always use.
