3 BEAUTIFUL GDINJ BAYS: JEDRA, SRHOV DOLAC AND VEPRINOVA

I'm taking my mission to show you the most beautiful bays and beaches on island Hvar very seriously. There are so many of them, though. At times I will  include more than one beautiful bay in my posts.  Today I'll share with you three bays: bay Jedra, bay Srhov dolac and bay Veprinova. We visited all of these bays back in March when I also visited Skozanje bay. If you remember, it was the day when I decided to show all of the Gdinj's southern bays to my husband. Now is the time to share some of them with you as well.  As I already explained, Gdinj's bays are mostly oriented towards ecological, Robinson and family tourism. They are a great choice for anyone who is looking for crystal clear sea and unspoiled nature.

BAY JEDRA
Bay Jedra is a lovely small bay with a beautiful private pebble beach.  It is situated between bay Lučica and bay Srhov dolac. When we approached it, I was impressed with the beautiful olive trees. The stone houses in this bay are all available for rent and offer apartments that are only about ten to fifteen meters away from the beach. These stone apartment houses are a delight. They are all build in the same style, resembling the original stone house that was here first. It is almost like it is a single house in a continuation. The gardens with Mediterranean herbs are wonderful.

BAY SRHOV DOLAC
Bay Srhov dolac is located next to bay Jedra. It also has a lovely pebble beach, plenty of greenery and great views. We didn't have time to go into the bay itself, so we just took photographs and enjoyed the view of it from a wall that was in process of being build or it looked so. There was some construction work being done on the wall when we visited, but I'm not sure to exactly what extent. Maybe just a big wall to secure the road. I can't tell. Anyhow, this bay looks lovely as well. I think I remember visiting it as a kid.
BAY VEPRINOVA
Bay Veprinova has quite a large and beautiful pebble beach. During the summer there is also a fish restaurant opened here that is supposedly very good. I noticed that are quite a few new houses in this bay. When we visited last time, there was some construction work being done. It seems like a new house is being build or something.
That would be all for now. Thank you for reading and have a lovely day.

  13. Hey Ivana, hope you're having a good start of the month and of the week!

This scenario is definitely the better place to spend our quarantine days, good to know that despite everything you're able to breath some fresh air and get your necessary dose of nature, that's something priceless nowadays! I wouldn't mind to wake up here, this reminds me of the sea in the Balearic Islands by the way!

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism.
