A FLORAL SHIRT PAIRED WITH AN A-LINE SKIRT FROM OZZ

Hello dear readers and visitors to my blog! Thank you for always leaving sweet comments. Sometimes blogging can be such a lovely distraction from stresses of everyday life.  Today I'll share a flirty and fun summer outfit with you. This is the kind of outfit  that can be easily layered (in case it's already getting colder where you are). To transition this styling into an early Autumn outfit, all that  would be needed is a blazer or a jacket of some kind. It's still summer, but it is fun to think about transitional looks. Anyhow, I wore this outfit for a date with my husband. I wanted to look feminine and chic. I reached for a skirt from Ozz brand (from a local fashion designer Stanka Zovko). If you remember, I bought this skirt (a part of a matching set) in a recent haul (see more HERE). Life is too short not to have fun with clothes. I'm all for overdressing as often as possible!

THE STORY OF MY OUTFIT - HOW I WORE IT BEFORE?
As I already said, I wore this for a date with my husband. First we went for a walk around Mostar city and then we went to a nearby restaurant near by. Initially, I tied the ends of my shirt to make it cropped, but then it suddenly got windy so I untied it. Fun thing about shirts/blouses/tops is that you can always tie or untie a knot, changing them up from cropped to regular length in second.
I shopped my closet for this look, meaning I already had all of these items. I won't link up my sunglasses because I wear them all the time. If I remember well, I bought this pair in DM (a German store chain that you can find at any corner in Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina. I also wore transparent tights and a underskirt. Bellow I will share links to previous looks with these clothing items in order to promote sustainability and give you more fashion illustration.
THE FLORAL SHIRT (Grazia store, not branded). Bought in a local store, this floral shirt has been with me for years. I love the print and the fact that it comes with ruffles. See how I styled it before HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE (AND  herehere here and here.)
THE A-LINE POLKA DOT SKIRT (Ozz, Stanka Zovko). You can see how I styled this skirt HERE. I'm so in love with this piece, I think I'll get to 30 wears in no time.
THE BLACK STILETTOS (not braded)- I've had this pair for a few years. I often reach for them for special occasions or date nights. I do love a good stiletto. See how I wore it HERE, HERE AND HERE.
THE BLACK MINI BAG (from Borsa store, not sure about the brand). See how I wore it HERE , HERE and HERE.
What do you think about this outfit? Does it look better cropped?

ROMANCA IS A RESTAURANT I VISIT OFTEN!

PREVIOUSLY VISITED- RESTAURANT ROMANCA

The location for the photographs is restaurant Romanca near Mostar (#notsponsored). This lovely restaurant is surrounded by a vineyard, so as you can imagine it's a very serene and romantic place. We love to go there to enjoy some peace and quiet.  Moreover, there's a great selection of wine. I don't drink myself, but I love learning about wine. Herzegovina has a great wine tradition, it's one of the things this region is famous for.  What else is Herzegovina famous for? Warm climate, many rivers, beautiful nature,  lots of sunshine and pomegranates.

Lokacija za fotografije je restoran Romanca kod Mostara (nije sponsorirano). Ovaj ljupki restoran okružen je vinogradom, pa je, kao što možete zamisliti, vrlo spokojno i romantično mjesto. Volimo ići tamo uživati u miru i tišini. Topla klima, mnoštvo rijeka, prekrasna priroda, puno sunca i šipci.

RESTAURANT ROMANCA NEAR MOSTAR (not sponsored in any way)
I can definitely recommend this gorgeous restaurant in vicinity of Mostar city. It is surrounded by greenary. In fact, the restaurant itself is practically located in a midst of vineyard.  I don't drink wine (or any alcohol) but they are known to have great wines. There is a little wine shop in the restaurant. The garden surrounding the restaurant is very pretty. Perfect for taking photographs. What I like about this restaurant is that is very quiet there. A perfect green oasis for a quick escape from the city! Plus, we always like to say hi to two horses that live there. During our last visit, I wasn't very hungry so I just had apple cake. My husband had a more substantial meal. Anyhow, we both enjoyed our meals.

Thank you for visiting and commenting. Have a lovely day!

  13. Hello Ivana, always happy to stop by and say hi!

As you well said blogging can be a good way to distract ourselves from the daily life, it is also a good way to surround ourselves with creatives mates :) Thank you always for your support.

I think I have tell you before that this tone of purple is currently on my lists of favorites things! I think you created a fantastic color combo in pastels, perfect for these summer days. I just noticed the polka dots until the closer shots! So good to hear that you had the chance to enjoy a walk and a nice meal with your husband :)

All the best and have a lovely weekend!

  14. Classic, fantastic blouse. You've styled it in such a fun, diverse variety of ways. Summer is rapidly taking its last bow around these parts, so lightweight shirts worn sans other layers will not be possible for much longer (unless one is in the mood for chattering teeth, lol). Thank you for the reminder to rock a few more of them before multi-layered ensembles become de rigueur again around these Canadian parts.

I hope you're doing positively, sweet dear, and that your September is off to a sunny, safe, and very happy start.

  17. Isn't blogging amazing? I am constantly lifted by the supportive comments I get too. :)

Oh my goodness, girlfriend! You are much bolder than me in showing your midsection! But then you are much slenderer and are rocking your abs! Good for you! I prefer the blouse cropped vs. untucked, which looks unfinished to me. I think this blouse should be tucked into the skirt to emphasize the A-line of the bottom. Worn loose is the wrong feel for this outfit, although if it's more comfortable that way for you, maybe a thin belt over the blouse?

What a lovely looking place that is! I would be over visiting the horses too! :)

    1. Part of it is angles. I'm sure my abs are not visible in every position. I'm pretty comfortable showing midsection as long as I'm wearing high waist items, then it doesn't feel like too much. I agree that the blouse should be either tucked in or cropped to emphasize the A-line, that's how I've been wearing it lately. I think blouse would be just as comfortable tucked in, but I'd prefer wearing it with tights then to make sure it would stay in place. I was wearing an underskirt this time but a low waist one so I wasn't sure would the blouse stay tucked in (even if skirt itself is high waist). Ah, clothes and logistics:)
