Nina Badrić u haljini Matije Vuice ( Fashion illustration of the day/ Modna ilustracija dana)


Time for another fashion illustration. Today we have a Croatian designer on agenda and her name is Matija Vuica. She was already featured on my blog here. Known primarily for her bold and dramatic designs, Vuica's been present on Croatian fashion scene for more than three decades. Here I illustrated a pink dress of hers, as worn by Nina Badrich. The medium is coloured pencils on paper.


Vrijeme je za još jednu modnu ilustraciju. Danas je na rasporedu hrvatska dizajnerica, naša Matija Vuica. Ona se već pojavila na blogu ovdje. Poznata najviše po svojim hrabrim i dramatičnim kreacijama, Vuica je prisutna na hrvatskoj modnoj sceni već više od tri desetljeća. Ovdje sam ilustrirala njenu rozu haljinu kako ju je nosila Nina Badrić.  Medij su bojice na papiru.

    Another gorgeous fashion illustration! I love how there's being an influx of pink lately into everyone's summer wardrobes. The cross-front design of this dress is stunning and must have been a lot of fun to draw!

FORGIVENESS DAY BY URSULA K. LE GUIN (BOOK REVIEW AND AN AUTUMN STYLING)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.
