Time for another fashion illustration. The medium is acrylic on cardboard. The inspiration behind this one was Dolce & Gabbana Autumn/Winter 2017/2018 collection.     I love that you chose to illustrate another look from the Dolce & Gabbana AW17 collection and you made a lovely choice. I actually remember this one from the runway show because there was so much visual interest in the components of the look! Fantastic job my friend!

    I had to click back cos I missed the prior illustration. I did catch up and what a great capture no surprises there. I remember reading the show left no stone unturned up to the shedding some light on the millennials occupying their front seat. Quite interesting, all of it. I love their collection. And I'm loving this illustration too.

    Lovely artwork, hun! And I really enjoyed seeing how it evolves during the different layers of paint, what a difference! Have you thought of maybe doing more posts like these, showing how your art develops step by step, layers by layer? It's just an idea, personally I'd find it very interesting and I think many others would too, as you always share such beautiful pieces! :) Speaking of art, I have recently gotten into cross-stitching! Which makes me feel like such an old lady, but whatever, haha! I find it so relaxing and much more 'convenient' than painting (as in, less messy and easier to drop in and out of).     You did amazing job on this painting, Ivana, especially I love that you focused on the details,so even without reading your post, I'll guess that this illustration shows D&G's collection! :) What's more, I love that you used different shades of blue as the background, it makes that yellow crown looks even more royal! :)

    Zaista mislim da si sve bolja i bolja u ovome i drago mi je što svedočimo razvijanju tvog talenta i veština. Mislim da nisi mogla da izabereš lepšu i moćniju inspiraciju. Sad mi je ta kolekcija još lepša, a ti si predivno dočarala kombinaciju. Čak i pozadina govori sama za sebe, a da ne spominjem ostale detalje :)

Hello fellow bloggers and/or blog readers! In this post, I'll share my review for Ursula K. Le Guin short story The Wild Girls . Published in 2011, this powerful short story tells a touching tale of slavery , trauma , loss and survival. Sisterly love is at the core of this immensely sad, complex and profound story. If you want to read an intelligent and multifaceted story focused on female characters, and set in a dystopian society, look no further. Don't expect a happy ending, though! This is not that kind of story. I actually listened to this short story (that isn't so short, it sorts of feels like a novella). I planned to listen to it while I do Pilates, but I wasn't aware of how serious and tragic the story truly was. I've read an awful lot of Le Guin's writing, so I know her writing can be ambitious, complex and challenging. SHADOW AND BONE BY LEIGH BARDUGO (BOOK REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! In this post, I shall review Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo ,  the first novel in the Shadow and Bone trilogy. Published in 2012, Shadow and Bone is a young adult fantasy novel featuring a young female protagonist Alina Starkov who tries to find her way in a world troubled by war and class divisions. The novel is set in Ravka, a fantasy world inspired by feudal Russia, but still unique in its own way. The world Alina Starkov inhabits has its own mythology and magic, and the worldbuilding is quite interesting. For example, there are Grishas, people who have magical powers, that are partly based on study of science and partly on instinct. It's actually one of my favourite seasonal transitions, because it allows us to easily play with layers and textures.
