STYLING A LEATHER JACKET FOR A VISIT TO MEĐUGORJE (BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How is life treating you? I didn't get much sleep last night, I'm still struggling with chronic pain. This year hasn't been too kind to me (so fat at least). All the more reason to focus on happy memories and joyful moments. One must find those little things in life one can enjoy. For example, the two of us enjoy making short trips and excursions in our area. Wonderful thing about Mostar, apart from it being an obviously gorgeous city, is the abundance of great destinations in immediate vicinity. It's absolutely amazing how many wonderful destinations are only half an hour drive again.  Last weekend we visited Međugorje (it's quite near Mostar). We very much enjoyed our visit. Sometimes you don't need much than a nice sunny day and some good will.  

Zdravo dragi čitatelji i kolege blogeri! Kako život? Sinoć se nisam baš naspavala, još uvijek se borim s kroničnim bolovima. Ova godina za sada nije bila previše ljubazna prema meni. Razlog više da se usredotočim na sretna sjećanja i radosne trenutke. Čovjek mora pronaći one male stvari u životu u kojima može uživati. Primjerice, nas dvoje uživamo u kratkim izletima i izletima u našem kraju. Divna stvar kada je Mostar u pitanju je ( osim što je očito prekrasan grad) i obilje sjajnih destinacija u neposrednoj blizini. Apsolutno je nevjerojatno koliko je prekrasnih destinacija samo pola sata vožnje od grada. Prošlog vikenda posjetili smo Međugorje. Jako smo uživali u našoj posjeti. Ponekad vam ne treba puno od lijepog sunčanog dana i dobre volje.

VISITING MEĐUGORJE 

The first thing we did upon arriving is to enjoy a cup of espresso in local cafe. After that, we had a nice walk around the village. The weather was absolutely beautiful. While we were walking, I picked some succulents to replant at my home. We'll see if they will survive, some are of the wild and not usually cultivated variety, so I'm not too sure. After our walk and visit to the church, we enjoyed a nice meal at a local restaurant and that's that. Prvo što smo napravili kada smo stigli je bilo uživanje u šalici espressa u lokalnom kafiću. Nakon toga smo se lijepo prošetali po selu. Vrijeme je bilo apsolutno prekrasno. Dok smo šetali, ubrala sam neke sukulente da ih presadim. Vidjet ćemo hoće li preživjeti, neke vrste su samonikle i inače ne kultivirane sorte, pa nisam baš sigurna. Nakon šetnje i posjeta crkvi, uživali smo u finom obroku u lokalnom restoranu i to je to. Ostavit ću vam linkove iz mojih prethodnih posjeta Međugorju (za slučaj da netko želi pročitati više o tome). MEĐUGORJE- A GREEN OASIS OF PEACE AND QUIET- Being sustainable with travel is another great idea. You can do it by being a local tourist and exploring the areas you would otherwise visit for various. The location where these photographs were taken is Međugorje (Medjugorje), a small touristic village in Herzegovina. Most of tourists that come to this village do so for religious reasons as Medjugorje is one of the most visited  Christian pilgrimage sites, but you can also come to enjoy the nature. SPORTS CENTRE MEĐUGORJE

After lunch at our favourite Filii restaurant, we took some photographs at a nearby sports centre. Because of its wonderful climate and clear air, Međugorje is a popular destinations for professional athletes. Both individual athletes and teams (including football clubs and representations) have chosen Međugorje as their training centers before big events, competitions and championships. 

 Nakon ručka u našem omiljenom restoranu Filli, uslikali smo se u obližnjem sportskom centru. Zbog predivne klime i čistog zraka Međugorje je popularno odredište profesionalnih sportaša. Sportaši koji se natječu u individualnim i timskim sportovima  i sportske momčadi (uključujući nogometne klubove i reprezentacije) odabrali su Međugorje kao svoje mjesto za pripreme prije velikih događaja,  natjecanja i prvenstava.

ON THE ROAD FROM MOSTAR TO MEĐUGORJE (OBSERVE THE NEW ROAD THAT IS BEING BUILT!)

On our drive back from Međugorje, we took some photographs by the road. If you look behind me, you can see a new road that is being built. Plus, the panorama is quite stunning. 

Na povratku iz Međugorja, snimili smo nekoliko fotografija uz cestu. Ako pogledate iza mene, možete vidjeti novu cestu koja se gradi. Osim toga, panorama je prilično zadivljujuća.
