FRIDAY FASHION ILLUSTRATION: DIGITAL ART, OLD AND NEW SKETCHES

Hello readers! How are you? I'm occupied with various art projects at the moment and today I'll share some of them with you. We'll start with a digital fashion illustration you can see bellow. You see, while I was cleaning up and organizing my art folders I came across an old pencil fashion illustration I did way back. I decided to colour that fashion sketch with art tools in Paint 3D. I ended up creating several digital fashion illustration versions of the original drawing, one of which is available for purchase in my redbubble shop as an acrylic block, art board print, sticker and etc. I may add up other version of this illustration to my shop later, I'm still considering it. Digital art has both its pros and cons. The fact that one doesn't need any new art supplies is definitely an advantage. When working with digital art, at least you know that you won't spill oil all over your very expensive balcony tiles like I did a few years ago (well, the wind did it, but I blame myself, I should have secured the oils).  Anyhow, scroll down to see more and see different version of this illustration as well some other art projects.

PAINTING WITH TEXTILE PAINTS
 - Besides working on digital art projects, I also managed to paint over one old yellow t-shirt and create a new fashion illustration design on it. I used one of my old fashion illustrations as a reference for the design I painted on the t-shirt. I can't wait to wear it.#modaodaradosti FRIDAY FASHION ILLUSTRATION: DIGITAL ART, OLD AND NEW

  3. I love your technique on the yellow shirt - it's like fingerprints creating the illustration. Very cool.

Using digital "paints" to re-illustrate reminds me of paper dolls - I used to make them, and created so many fun outfits.

Way to keep your artistic side going, Ivana!
