Sunday is for simplicity (modna ilustracija) / Nedjelja je za jednostavnost (modna ilustracija) 11.12.2016.

Sunday is for simplicity. Taking our time to drink our morning coffee. Taking the time to smell the roses (In my case there is only one rose in the vase, but it is making me infinitely happy. I love it when my roses blossom in Autumn and Winter. It is very nice of them I think. Every time I see a new bud in my garden, it is such a pleasant surprise). Sunday is for those little pleasures in life. We should always be ready to meet them, but Sunday somehow makes it easier for us. Living in the now. Spending time with love ones. Spending time doing things we love. Tell me, what does Sunday mean to you?

Sometimes a simple pencil sketch feels so good to draw. Unplanned. This pencil drawing wasn't inspired by any particular look, but it the kind of dress I would love to have in closet. A maxi dress with long sleeves and bare shoulders. It seems like a lovely option for a Christmas party. What do you think? Have you selected your festive dresses yet? Do you have them ready? I must admit that I do not. However, I'm thinking about them. Hence this fashion illustration of the day. Now, that I look at it, I see slight Morticia Adams vibes, but that's all right because I actually really like this character, as portrayed by both actresses that made it famous. I didn't really have a particular colour in  mind when it comes to this dress,  I didn't think about it because I drew this illustration so quickly but I think red, green, gold or any other festive colour would do. You can also go with black, like Morticia.

Ponekad je baš dobar osjećaj napraviti jednostavnu skicu olovkom. Neplaniranu. Jesu li spremne? Moram priznati da još nisam odabrala. No, razmišljam o njima.

That's all for this morning! I should have a new Inspired by post published by tonight. You can see the sketch in my instastories. Can you guess who it is?

LINK UPDATE 2023

To je sve za ovo jutro! Do večeras planiram objaviti novu Nadahnuta s objavu. Možete vidjeti skicu u mojim instapričama. Možete li pogoditi o kome se radi?

Kad sam pročitala ime Morticia, zaista i vidim sličnost. Eto, čak i ona može da inspiriše :)

  10. This dress is so lovely! Elegant, slightly mysterious. Loving how you depicted this outfit! I enjoy lazy Sundays myself, also... I don't usually go out and I much prefer a quiet day in, with a cup of coffee, blogging and some TV. :) <3 Kisses! xoxo
