Unplanned (outfit post) / Neplanirano (odjevna kombinacija)

It is understandable that someone who likes prints, also favours a nice mix of prints. I admire those elegant monochrome mix of prints I keep seeing everywhere, but for myself I have selected a rather bold mix of prints. What should I put together? How about tartan and floral print...with lots of bright colours? Yes, that sounds peachy. I really liked this outfit, still on that particular day I didn't plan to do an outfit post. Still, mr. photographer insisted and in the end I decided to post these photographs. I thought it would be funny if they came with a description of what was on my mind at the moment.

Nije neobično za nekoga tko voli uzorke, voljeti i lijepu kombinaciju uzoraka. Divnim se onom elegantnom monokromatskom kombiniranju uzoraka koje vidim posvuda u zadnje vrijeme, ali za sebe sam odabrala malo hrabriju varijantu. Što nositi zajedno...možda karirani i cvjetni uzorak, pa još i jarke boje? Da, to zvuči bajno. Svidjela mi se ova kombinacija, ali tog dana se i nisam planirala slikati. Ipak fotograf je bio raspoložen i na kraju sam odlučila objaviti ove fotografije...i čini mi se da bi bilo smiješno napisati i što mi je prolazilo glavom.

 Zašto me slikaš? Jesam li to tražila? Zar ne vidiš da nosim spizu?



A fraction of a second later. The grocery bag tossed away.  If you insist on taking a photo, at least  wait for me to strike a pose. Let's pretend that I have a sudden urge to rest my arm on my head.

Djelić sekunde kasnije, plastična vrećica odbačena ...ako me već moraš slikati, barem pričekaj da nađem dobru pozu. Idemo se pretvarati da odjednom imam poriv odmoriti ruku na glavi.




My failed attempt to gracefully show another way to style a scarf with this old bag. That one will have to wait. Actually it is pretty neat and I will show you in detail some other time.

    I baš mi je drago da je fotograf bio raspoložen, tako mi je dobra ova kombinacija i vidjela sam te u puno suknji (i haljinica), ali ova ti stoji savršeno!
    Vidim da se opet puno nose ovakve debele pete, iako sam najčešće u ravnome sviđaju mi se jer mislim da su jako stabilne i možda bih u njima čak znala hodati, umjesto nabadati :))

      ja sam odlučila odsada kupovati samo debele pete jer osim što su stabilnije i puno duže traju. Ovaj model nije baš najzahvalniji kada je baš vruće, pošto je remen pri dnu jako tanak pa noga klizi kad se znoji...ali predvečer i ujutro kad nije baš sunce tako jako onda su jako ugodne za nošenje.

    Those 2 patterns are so fun and pretty together. So wonderful how the skirt fits you and those legs are amazing!! And regarding your comment on my blog, do you mean bikini pictures of you are readily avaiable or bikini pictures are readily available of others? If it is the first then certainly sadness vanishes. If its the second then that is no help. I am just very curious and excited to see and, if not, then that is sad for me. But either way thanks for being so nice about it.

    Komentari su prefora, baš sam se nasmijala! Budi sretna da imaš tako divnog fotografa kojeg ne moraš moliti da te slika već sam fotka :) Moj stalno kuka kada mora odvojiti tih pet minuta za fotkanje! :P
    Ova kombinacija uzoraka mi je predobra... nevjerojatno koliko dobro mogu izgledati naizgled nespojivi uzorci! Bravo, odlična si mi!

    i think you can wear this different styles of prints. this mixture of different colours and patterns is always risky but with a discreet note females can wear it.

In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.
