Floral dress (outfit post) / Cvjetna haljina (odjevna objava)


 I was always aware that Split is a  truly unique place, even when it wasn't as popular as it is today. I used to walk everywhere when I lived here! I'm a big believer in getting to know a city on foot. You can never know a town until you explore its every corner on foot. I have more posts about Split scheduled and many more stories to tell. Some places we carry in our hearths, and our proximity to them is of little importance.










How to wear a floral summer dress in winter? Well, you might wear a long cardigan over it and a simple black coat on top of that. For a bit of colour, you might accessorize with a light green scarf and a pair of sunglasses. I would say it is as good way as any. What do you think? 

Time to say goodbye to February. The photographs were taken closer to the start of February than to the end of this month, but they will serve just fine. The weather is pretty much the same. Quite warm, but not enough to leave your coat at home, hence this outfit still feels relevant to me.

Kako nositi cvjetnu šarenu haljinu zimi? Mogli biste nositi dugi karigan preko nje i jednostavan crni kaputić preko. Za malo boje, mogli biste dodati svijetlo zeleni šal i sunčane naočale. Rekla bi da je to način koji nije lošiji od nekog drugog. Što vi mislite?

Vrijeme je da se oprostimo od veljače. Fotografije su uslikane bliže početku veljače nego kraju, ali će sasvim dobro poslužiti. Vrijeme je manje više isto. Dosta toplo, ali ne dovoljno da kaput ostavite kući, tako da mislim da je odjevna kombinacija još u toku.

    I find it really difficult to keep up with reading all of the blogs I want to, commenting and then trying to respond to the comments left on mine. I started off with great intentions but am struggling to manage it all now. You look great in the dark florals and its a perfect outfit for a day that is so sunny and yet is still winter. Our weather is very much like that too though March can turn around and be rather wet and yucky. xo

    Such a lovely dress and paired so well with the scarf. So nice to get a little closer look at your tights in shot 2, but still dream of an even closer one :) Maybe one day!     Some flowers in winter are good, they are real mood boosters: cheer up, add colour, remind of sunny and warm spring days. Your floral dress looks fantastic worn in a company of a cardi and a coat. I like the addition of a green scarf too.

    Obožavam cvjetne haljinice i ova tvoja mi se baš sviđa i super ti stoji, moraš je češće nositi :) Ja ne mogu dočekati toplije vrijeme, ne trebaju mi još kratki rukavi, ali da barem mogu ove najdeblje jakne ostaviti u ormaru :)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.
