summer nights (outfit post)/ ljetne noći (odjevna kombinacija)

Poem by  Croatian poet Antun Branko Šimić, translation by me:

Seducer

and after that
on your knees between disaranged pillows
you think
of death

My child!
I will not soothe you with new kisses
and make you forget
I let the tears wash down
your pale face

Tomorrow
you heart that beats desperately now
will become calm

Tomorrow
when you meet your young friends
with dark shadows under your eyes
they will be wondering your young friends
but none of them
will find out
hidden in the corners of your eyes
a pale star

Don't cry my child: The winter night is full of blue
and my steps will be covered by deep white snow.

Antun Branko Šimić:

ZAVODNIK

I poslije toga
na koljenima izmeđ razbacanih jastuka
misliš
na smrt

O dijete!
Ja neću da te novim poljupcima smirim
u zaborav
Puštam da ti blijedim licem suze teku

Sutra
smirit će se tvoje srce
koje sada očajalo tuče

Sutra
kad stupiš među svoje mlade druge
s dvije tamne sjenke ispod očiju
začudit će se tvoje mlade druge
Al nijedna neće moći da otkrije
skrivenu udno tvojih očiju
blijedu zvijezdu

Ne plači dijete: noć se plavi zimska
Za mojim stopama će zapadati bijel visok snijeg

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.
