My internet connection is really bad so I'll keep this one short, at least as far as the text goes. The photos were taken a few years ago and I have shared some of the photos from this trip before so I guess this is post no.2 about Blidinje.
Internetska veza mi je loša pa će ovaj post biti kratak barem što se teksta tiče. Fotografije su od prije par godina i već sam podijelila neke fotografije sa ovog izleta pa se može reći da je ovo drugi post o Blidinju.
Breathtaking views and outstanding structures. Aww, you look so cute. very nice photos. Thanks for sharing. Hope your internet gets working soon. Have a great weekend.
I will never stop saying that, you live in a wonderful place, Ivana! The nature is breathtaking over there, I'd love to have a stroll and see it all with my own eyes. Those photographs are adorable and so interesting to look at! Wish you a great day ahead!
The combination of light and mountain views is extremely uplifting. It seems as though I could breathe in clear, hilltop air just from looking at the last 3 images.
Beautiful pictures dear.x I am sure your trip was amazing, it looks such an amazing place! Hope you'll get a better internet connection soon.x Can't wait for your next post! Have a lovely and relaxing Sunday! xxxx Stephanie vidathings.blogspot.co.uk
Obviously it´s wonderful there, thanks a lot for your great pics! Are you also drinking black tee with lemon? Because especially if I drink tea outside from home this is my preferred drink :) Hope you had a wonderful weekend so far!
All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.
How to style a graphic t-shirt? There are quite a few ways to go about it. My outfit proposal of the day suggests that you should try styling your graphic tee with a white shirt, white jeans and a pair of pink heels. Just because autumn is here, doesn't mean you have to wear only dark colours. White items can look so elegant when styled right. Wearing white for autumn and winter can be a great way to refresh your style. If your style is more classical, pair white with neutral colours such as black or grey. If you're a lover of colour, you can have fun pairing white with any shade you like. I actually love to wear soft colours such as baby pink and blue even in the colder months. If you want to jazz up your graphic tee outfit, why not try pairing it with white jeans? If your graphic t-shirt is short sleeved, why not try layering a shirt or a blouse under it? If you borrow you t-shirt from your boyfriend or someone taller than yourself, you can even wear it as a dress and pair i
Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! In this post, I'll share what I wore to a traditional wedding in Herzegovina. Some vintage dresses are more special than others. This royal blue one falls into the category of more special ones. Not just because this long formal dress is absolutely gorgeous (more about that later) but because there's a story to it. Worn for several wedding celebrations spanning several decades, this dress has lived quite an interesting life! This long blue pleated dress was a gift from my aunt. My aunt Nena actually wore it to her wedding! This blue dress wasn't her dress, but the formal dress she changed into after reception. Back when my aunt was young, that was the norm. The brides would typically get married in one dress and change to another later. Our Croatian traditional weddings were never a reception sort of things, they are typically quite elaborate. Croatian wedding were always an all night affair (the wedding celebrations and customs somet
I've had good luck with reading this month. I started reading The Amulet of Samarkand by Jonathan Stroud and I quite enjoy it. I'm still under impression of The Sea Lady . It is such an amazing novel. I finally got to reading Maya Angelou and I loved her, Jazz by Toni Morrison was as deep and profound as Beloved . Have you read any of these? Perhaps the novels are what I will remember this month for. Do you have any reading recommendations for me? Imala sam sreće s čitanjem ovog mjeseca. Počela sam čitati Amulet iz Samarkanda i baš u njemu uživam. Još sam pod dojmom romana Margaret Drabble (u orginalu The Sea Lady kod nas još koliko znam nije preveden). konačno sam počela čitati Mayu Angelou.
Hello readers! How are you doing? I came back to Split city (for work reasons) last Friday. I'm not sure how long I will stay here, it depends entirely on my work contract. Naturally, I'm always happy to be back in my beautiful home town. It seems I'm not the only one, as there still are tourists around. Anyhow, today I will show you two more ways to style this simple long sleeved grey dress. I've had this comfortable 'bellow the knee' dress for a few years and on overall found it really practical. I love that it is an item that can be worn all year around and that is exactly what I did. In a recent post, I showed you three ways to wear this grey dress. In this post from 2020, I showed you additional thirteen ways to style it and in this post from 2021 two more winter outfits with it. I also wore this grey dress with a faux fur coat while I shared some reading recommendations. I think I'm getting close to 30 wears with this one and that's great b
Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! In this post, I shall review The Time of Indifference , a novel by Alberto Moravia. You can read this novel in English for free here . Published in 1929, The Time of Indifference is a beautifully complex psychological novel that explores human emotions and relationships. The novel focuses on one dysfunctional family specifically and is spread over a very short span of time (a few days). Rather than on events, this novel focuses on inner lives of its bourgeoise protagonists. It could perhaps be best described as a work of psychological realism with elements of existentialism. Besides reviewing this novel, I'll also show you a spring outfit I wore fairy recently. Spring is nearing its end and Summer is almost here. Spring's been filled with work and family events but I found time to do some blogging and reading. Yes, I managed to find some time on my blog to publish a quite few book reviews. Now , the time has come to share with my m
Today I'm back with a book review: Murder in Three Acts (or Three Act Tragedy) , a novel by Agatha Christie. This novel was originally published under the title Three Act Tragedy in 1935 but since it was adapted for television (in 1986) as Murder in Three Acts ., it has also been printed under that alternative title. If murder mystery is your genre, you simply cannot go wrong with Agatha Christie. When I was in middle school, Agatha Christie was a popular choice among us kids. However, I realized that I enjoy her writing just as much as an adult. Among Agatha Christie's works, my favourite books are those with the legendary Belgian detective Poirot. Earlier this year I reviewed Hercule Poiroit's Christmas . Today I will review this 1935 novel. Funny to think it's almost 100 years since it has been published! I will also share two summer outfits with you, both featuring skirts from designer Stanka Zovko paired with ruffled floral blouses and heeled sandals. I quit
Are you wondering what fabrics to reach for this Autumn? Corduroy items are perfect for creating cozy autumn outfits. So, I'm assuming most of you (if not all) have at least one pair of dark (cord) jeans. How to style black corduroy flare jeans for autumn? Today I'll show you an easy autumnal styling. When in doubt go for a black and white styling, for it always look elegant. Here I paired my dark cord jeans with a white shirt and a white blazer. This classic colour combo allowed me to play with accessories a bit. I made things more interesting by adding statement earrings and a scarf in the mix. I also wore high heeled boots for the extra elongating effect. Alright, I'm quite tall, but this combo makes me look even taller. Flare jeans can be so flattering, especially high rise ones. THERE IS NOTHING NEW ABOUT THIS OUTFIT: SUSTAINABLE FASHION FILES I've finished the Slow Season Fashion Challenge successfully. I didn't purchase anything last summer. S
Hi there lovely readers, blog visitors and/or fellow bloggers! Today I have a new landscape painting to share with you. This time I painted beautiful Vrboska beach on island Hvar. As some of you might remember, TRAVEL WITH MY ART is a regular series on my blog where I share my paintings of different locations and places. My last painting was inspired by Sućuraj on island Hvar. This time I was once again inspired by island Hvar, but this time the location is different, it's beach Soline. I painted Vrboska before, but not this beach. Now, a bit of information about this painting. The medium for this painting is acrylic paints on paper. This 'Soline beach' painting is not as ambitious as the last canvas 'Sućuraj' painting I shared ( HERE ). That last 'Sućuraj' painting was bigger, more detailed, intricate and labour intensive. In contrast, this acrylic painting was done on paper in A4 format is. So, it's not a large painting. I worked on it for two day
Summer isn't over yet! So, the question remains: what to wear in the remaining summer days? How about the colour of love? Red is the colour of love and passion. What better colour to end the summer with? If you want to infuse more red into your summer outfits, you've came to the right place. This year I've been crushing on yellow, but that doesn't mean that I have forgot about the power of colour red. We'll start with baby steps. As with any trend, starting small is always a good idea. Check your closet and look for anything red. If you don't like red or you don't feel confident enough to rock a red dress, you can always accessorize. Red scarves, bags and other red accessories are a great way to add some colours to your outfits. Don't forget about make up! A red lip goes a long way. A red manicure always looks classical and elegant. If you want to try a new hair colour, why not opt for red? There is something special about redheads. Just like wi
