OOTD- današnje ruho (MINT VINTAGE BLAZER)

Hello dear readers! In this post, I'll show you how I styled a vintage blazer with jeans for a chic autumn styling. You can see me posing with black canvases, because I'm an artist. Speaking of art, here are a few quotes from Picasso.

Every day is like a blank canvas for us to paint on....and to make most of the metaphor...the  stokes we make we cannot undo, but we can always make a fresh start. I'm feeling a bit philosophical today. Staying up (all night)  reading can do that to you.

“Everything you can imagine is real.”

....

“Others have seen what is and asked why. I have seen what could be and asked why not. ”
.....

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.”

INSPIRING QUOTES BY PABLO PICASSO

“Action is the foundational key to all success. ”

“When I was a child my mother said to me, 'If you become a soldier, you'll be a general. If you become a monk, you'll be the pope.' Instead I became a painter and wound up as Picasso.”

“Ah, good taste! What a dreadful thing! Taste is the enemy of creativeness.”

“Only put off until tomorrow what you are willing to die having left undone.....”

“There are painters who transform the sun to a yellow spot, but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence, transform a yellow spot into the sun...”

“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”

“What do you think an artist is? ...he is a political being, constantly aware of the heart breaking, passionate, or delightful things that happen in the world, shaping himself completely in their image. Painting is not done to decorate apartments. It is an instrument of war.”

“Bad artists copy. Good artists steal.”

“We all know that Art is not truth. Art is a lie that makes us realize truth at least the truth that is given us to understand. The artist must know the manner whereby to convince others of the truthfulness of his lies.”

“There is no abstract art. You must always start with something. Afterward you can remove all traces of reality.”

“It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.”

“God is really only another artist. He invented the giraffe, the elephant and the cat. He has no real style. He just goes on trying things.”

“What one does is what counts. Not what one had the intention of doing.”

MORE WAYS TO STYLE MY MINT VINTAGE JACKET /BLAZER

POST UPDATE 2024

I DECIDED TO TRAVEL BACK FROM THE FUTURE TO SHOW YOU MORE WAYS TO WEAR THIS MINT VINTAGE BLAZER

THE MINT BLAZER- VINTAGE

I absolutely love this vintage mint blazer that I inherited from my mother. It looks fantastic worn with anything, from jeans to evening gowns! I wish I could wear it to work, but this year we have a black and white dress code. The reason why I choose it for this particular styling is because it matched the Ozz teagreen blouse so well. However, I realized that I really like how it looked with the midi skirt as well (and the heels).

Back in 2019, I shared a look with this mint blazer and a white tunics.

Back in 2021, I illustrated this vintage mint blazer.

A WATERCOLOUR ILLUSTRATION: A VINTAGE MINT BLAZER- This is a quick watercolour sketch of my outfit. I wore this outfit maybe two weeks ago, when it was still sunny and warm. I love this vintage mint blazer. If I remember well, it's an inherited item.

MY FAVOURITE PAIRS OF JEANS: A VISUAL GUIDE

THIS VINTAGE PAIR OF BLUE FLARES JEANS WAS INCLUDED IN A DIY PROJECT.
iN THE FUTURE, I HAND PAINTED FLOWER PATTERN ON THIS PAIR

Below you can see one of my favourite pair of vintage jeans. The flare is quite subtle which makes them very easy to style. A while back I hand painted them so now they are completed with some pretty red flowers. I really like how the flowers pop out. It's definitely one of my favourite pairs.

“The world doesn't make sense, so why should I paint pictures that do?”

“When art critics get together they talk about Form and Structure and Meaning. When artists get together they talk about where you can buy cheap turpentine.”

“We artists are indestructible; even in a prison, or in a concentration camp, I would be almighty in my own world of art, even if I had to paint my pictures with my wet tongue on the dusty floor of my cell.”

“Everyone wants to understand art. Why not try to understand the song of a bird? Why does one love the night, flowers, everything around one, without trying to understand them? But in the case of a painting people have to understand. If only they would realize above all that an artist works of necessity, that he himself is only a trifling bit of the world, and that no more importance should be attached to him than to plenty of other things which please us in the world, though we can't explain them. People who try to explain pictures are usually barking up the wrong tree.”

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.
