Inspired by....... Dolce &Gabbana Spring 2016 collection (fashion illustration of the day- runaway look )

Image
Spring.  Believe it or not, I'm not anxious for Spring to get here. Yes, I find it hard to believe myself but I'm a newfound lover of Winter. The weather has been rather gloomy lately, today being no exception. I haven't been able to take a decent shot in days, but somehow I don't even mind it.  I'm content with the season at hand. However, that doesn't mean  that I don't have my eye open for upcoming trends. That doesn't mean that I'm not thinking about what I will wear this Spring. Speaking of which.... Today I have a new fashion illustration to share with you. Recently I shared an illustration from D&G 2017 collection ( here ). Today I'm illustrating something from a different collection. It is in fact a runaway look from the last year's collection- but from the same designers. So, I suppose you could say that I like Dolce& Gabbana:). #Italyislove and all that! Does anyone remember D&G Spring 2016 collection? Well, here is...

My fashion illustration of the day-zelenilo/ Moja modna ilustracija dana- greenary

Image
Today a new fashion illustration. The medium is watercolour on paper. I suppose this one could be seen as my answer to a question that's been on a lot of minds lately:  'How to wear Pantone's greenery?' How do you like this colour of the year? Personally, I like it but then again I like almost all shades of green. I have always loved green. Period. This outfit features only two colours: black and green. I quite like this combination of colours. A monochrome outfit doesn't have to always be black and white. Green and black can be such an interesting colour combo. This combo is all about spring vibes, but with a few additional layers it could work for winter too.  Danas nova modna ilustracija.

Inspired by...... Paola Lauretano (fashion illustration)

Image
Hello everyone! Today I'm back with another illustration inspired by a fashion blogger. This time I was inspired by Paola Lauretano from express yourself blog ( check it out here ). Paola's blog is one of those I follow regularly and it is always a fantastic place to look for fashion and travel inspiration. Great blog for sure. If you want to see the outfit that I illustrated, you may follow this link . Who says that winter fashion can't be fun? It sure can be, as Paola demonstrates here. If you ask me, yellow is a great choice in winter. Let's us create our own sun. Now, about this illustration. The medium is watercolour on paper. It was a very fun outfit to illustrate and I'm satisfied with how it turned out. Painting fur is a challenge but I'm getting the hang of it.  Zdravo svima! Danas se vraćam s još jednom ilustracijom nadahnutom modnom blogericom. Ovoga puta bila sam nadahnuta Paolom Lauretano s bloga express yourself (možete ga pogledati ovdje )....

Anya and Her Wings / Anja i njena krila (book review and recommendation/ ogled knjige i preporuka)

Image
A package from Amazon arrived at my door two days ago.  I was so happy when my husband brought the package in ( the postman didn't bother to ring the door, he just left it there), because I was extremely eager to read this book- and I knew what the package contained because it is the first thing I've ever ordered from Amazon.  Speaking of firsts, this is the first time I'm reviewing a book from a fellow blogger so that's an added bonus too. This book was written by Natalia Lianina and illustrated by her brother Andrei Lialin. I've been following Natalia's blog  in the writer's closet  for a while now. I find her blog to be very inspirational and creative space and I would certainly recommend everyone to visit it. Right now there is a fashion link up at her blog, so do check it out. Anyone is invited to join in. Perhaps some of you (those of you with a good memory) may even remember that I took part in Natalia's writing link up? A while back, I also did ...
