It was a sunny day today.  I wore leggings, a sweater dress and high boots (just in case anyone is wondering, it is this exact outfit minus the long blazer). I cleaned the house and opened the widows. The air felt amazingly sweet. Why is everything always easier when it is sunny? I stopped by two libraries (yes, two libraries- why settle only for one?).  I borrowed an edition of Hemingway's short stories and a second book in Bartimaeus Sequence and I'm very much looking forward to reading both of them.  A day filled with sunshine and good vibes. Just what the doctor ordered.  Otherwise, life as usual. Lots of coffee (possibly too much). Lots of drawing (not nearly enough to end up with something I really like). Sundays are for Murakami. Indeed, this day seems perfect to write about this writer. I always felt there was something dreamy and melancholic about Sundays. No wonder this Sunday got me thinking about Murakami, about  Sputnik  and  South of the Border, West of the Sun . This evening I shall speak only about the latter (   South of the Border, West of the Sun ) , but tomorrow, who knows? They say that Murakami is one of those authors you either love or hate. I can actually understand how his style of writing might not be for everyone’s taste, but I happen to love him. His unique writing style always had a sort of hypnotic power over me. I feel enchanted when I read his novels, almost like I’m entering some magical world.  Moreover, at times it is almost like I’m in the book myself, a silent observer, but nevertheless, a person very much present.  Nedjelje su za Murakamija. Today I'm doing a book review and outfit post together. Seeing that I had the book at hand when these images were taken, I don't see why not but first things first. I've read this book fairly recently, only a few days ago and it is very fresh in my mind. Not that I would have mattered if I had read it a long time ago, my memory is phenomenal when it comes to books, I wish it was so efficient in other aspects of my life. I more likely to forget somebody's name in real life, that a name of a fictional character. Why my brain works that way I haven't the slightest clue. Let's get back to this post. The location is, once again, Buna river in vicinity of Mostar. Most of these photographs were taken in restaurant and motel Kolo.
