Sunday...I've got up quite early and managed to done most of things I've planned for this Sunday so that makes me feel pretty good. I'm learning how to be more organized and handle things without stressing myself (too much). Sunday is also a time for my weekly fashion crushes i.e outfits that have caught my attention....a post that I always really look forward to. I wasn't sure if I will be able to join in Share-in-Style organized by lovely Sacramento , but then suddenly about 5 pm it stopped raining and the sun appeared. So, here I am...the theme is accessories   and up to now there have been about 30 participants. Why don't you join in as well? Today I have opted for a bit of a bohemian look (everything is over-sized, the flare jeans, the blouse and the cardi) and I'm wearing a necklace that I have made myself recently. I guess what I like about cooking so much is that unlike in life, nine times out of ten you'll going to be successful. a closer look of the clutch and the DIY (the flower and the rest) I've posted about here . To be honest it didn't turned out the way I wanted it to, but there will be new attempt (or attempts soon). Malo bolji pogled na cvijet koji sam naslikala ( i ostalo) i o čemu sam pisala ovdje . Zapravo nije ispalo kako je trebalo, ali nema veze uskoro će biti novi pokušaj (ili pokušaji).

nothing says spring like strawberry cakes Lately strawberry cakes have been on my menu and let me tell you I have baked them in all shapes and sizes. I haven't really followed any recipe but as most of the time improvised. The key is to find good strawberries (there are many recipes online)! (Sadly the ones I have bought yesterday (at the same open market!) are not quite mature yet so I'll have to wait for tomorrow. Besides the strawberry cakes I have also baked chocolate ones and well all kinds (you might have noticed that I have a sweet tooth) . U zadnje vrijeme su mi na jelovniku bili kolači od jagode. Baš sam ih pekla u svim oblicima i veličinama, mekše i tvrđe...ne po nekom receptu nego više po nekom nadahnuću (tako sam ovaj pomalo neuredna izgleda napravila vez valjanja jer mi se nije dalo čistiti stol). Again, another illustration inspired by  Tennessee Williams'  play. Cat on a Hot Thin Roof is one of his better known plays, probably due to the film version that has won so much acclaim. This would be one of the rare cases where I like the book and the movie equally. I'm sure that primarily has to do with the wonderful performance of Paul Newman and Elizabeth Taylor. The play is actually a lot more open and daring than the movie, that feels to some extent like a censored version, but as I said the suburb acting makes out for it. Rereading the play, I felt more than ever, sympathetic with the Maggie the cat character. Maggie : I'll win, all right. Brick : Win what? What is the victory of a cat on a hot tin roof?
