    I tuoi schizzi fanno sempre riflettere: io adoro la mini ma solo con le calze coprenti perchè non me la posso più permettere se non al mare :) le scarpe basse non le adoro, io sono già bassa, ma per guidare vanno benissimo, il tartan non mi dispiace ma lo trovo più invernale che estivo e la moda? che dire è bello mettere un po' di noi perchè la moda passa lo stile resta! It was over 40 degrees Celsius (that's over 100 Fahrenheit) when these photographs were taken. Seriously! I'm obviously a desert type when I'm able to enjoy being out at midday in a city that is practically an oven. If you did not know Mostar city is surrounded by mountains and hills which pretty much turns it into an urban oven. Yes, this city is a champion of unbelievably high temperatures during the Summer. Wearing the First Dress I Ever Made: A Grey Midi Dress

Here it is: the first dress I have ever made entirely by myself. I did make some summer dresses in the past, but I had sown them without a pattern and a sewing machine and at any rate I wouldn't call them very accomplished. I mean, they weren't nearly as polished as this dress and they were not nearly as complex to make. I'm very happy with how this dress turned out. I'm even happier I took this sewing course in the first place because now I can make more dresses like this one! If you remember my November highlights  post , you might remember that I've mentioned how I've recently finished a beginning fashion tailoring and sewing course with designer Stanka Zovko.  I promised to show you the dress I made for my course 'graduation'. Something old, something new....Nešto staro, nešto novo.......

I wore a new black blazer in my last outfit ( click  here ) and I'm wearing an old one in this outfit. The brooch I'm wearing is my own creation, made from faux leather and coffee. Yes, you read that right. Coffee!!! I glued coffee beans onto the faux leather base (cut out from a second hand faux leather coat so that's basically triple recycling) and then I decorated the brooch with nail-polish. Usually I don't use glue for DIY projects, but that time I decided to make an exception. How do you like my creation? Now, I will say a few words about the location because to me they are as important as outfits. You know that I love sharing beautiful places with you. Do you like bridges? If you do, you will most likely enjoy visiting Mostar city. Do know how Mostar city got its name? The noun 'most' means bridge and -ar is a suffix used to create an occupation.  Time for another feature of Sights to see, places to visit . I've started this series because I wanted to share places that are dear to me with my readers. I wasn't sure should I include this post in the series, because I often took you to Buna river with me. However, some of you might be new visitors/readers on my blog. In addition, some of you might need a reminder why you shouldn't miss visiting this place. Well, take for the example photograph two and three, that is a river bird and a river snake. I've captured both despite the fact that my last visit was a short one. Futhermore, I photographed some really rare birds here previously and let me tell you I wasn't even trying that hard. Most of the time when I visit Buna, I'm here for two hours maximum because I use it as 'have a moment and breathe place'. It is situated near Mostar, so it is really easy for me to get here. Is Marjan  hill worth the hike? It sure it. Moreover, if you ask me it is also worth the hype. In a recent post (read it here ), I provided you with a google map link and explained to you how to get to the point where you can enjoy the best view of the city  (and while you are at it, why not discover an old church that is located only 200 meters from it?) Today I will do something even better. I will show you how to get there. Our starting point is the city centre i.e. the famous promenade known locally as 'riva'. From there we will climb to vidilica ( that is the first resting point with  the best view of Split city IMO) and then to the old church I told you about. Finally, we will  climb down to sea level.
