a reflection  For whatever reason (I simply wouldn't know) this place has been closed. Shortly after, vandals destroyed most of it. Is it a reflection of our society? or reflection of human nature? or the reflection of that famous law of physics (the law of entropy) that say all things tend to destruct and all order ends with disorder? Why is it takes so much effort to create something and it takes so little for all of it to disappear. I simply wouldn't know. If you look at the first photo closely you will see my reflection. It used to be my one of my favourite places to drink coffee (primarily because of the location and the view). Such a shame! What inspired me to make this necklace? What inspired me to make this necklace was a post by  +The Dainty Dolls House  in which she wrote about a young women named Lauren who has died aged 25 because of heart problems. When the doctors told Lauren that her condition was very serious, she started this amazing 100 heartbeats project....    Što me nadahnulo za ovu ogrlicu? Post blogerice Dandy Doll House u kojem je pisala o hrabroj mladoj ženi koja je umrla u 25 godini života zbog srčanih problema. Prije smrti Lauren je pokrenula projekt 100 otkucaja srca, ljepila je medaljone u obliku srca na svoja omiljena mjesta, stvarajući dirljiv vizualni dnevnik. Umrla je 97 dana svoga projekta, a njen muž ga je dovršio. Now, here is a clothing item that has certainly payed off. I have worn this jacket so many times that it really deserves a post of its own. I like how the cut is that of a bit biker jacket but the material is almost fancy so it goes pretty much with everything. I even wear it in the winter  (under a coat or under another jacket). Evo komada odjeće koji se isplatio. Nosila sam ovu jaknicu tako često da je zaslužila svoj vlastiti post. Sviđa mi se što kroj nalikuje motorki, a materijal je finiji (skoro pa finčukast) tako da ide pa uz skoro sve. Čak je nosim zimi (ispod kaputa ili druge jakne).

I have no intention of pretending to be an art critic but I do visit exhibitions when I have a chance. After visiting this exhibition I decided to google this painter and read a little bit about him. One of the art critic said that this exhibition (and the paintings you have the opportunity to see) is of confessional character and doesn't try to communicate with the viewer, whatever that meant. I'm not sure I have understood what this art critic was trying to say. However, what I really liked is what the painter has said himself and I quote him :  " If the painting doesn't have the research element in itself, it is in danger of stagnating. The creative force must come in the open, and in some kind of desire, but also in the explosion of colours and characters, a new exhibition has been born..."   Well, that was nicely said, wouldn't you agree?
