INTERNATIONAL ART GIVEAWAY: WIN AN ORIGINAL WATERCOLOUR FASHION ILLUSTRATION

To thank you for being such amazing readers, I've decided to host another art giveaway. This time I'm giving away a new painting of mine. Art always seems like a good idea for a giveaway. Nobody complained about getting free art from me before, so why not? Who doesn't like an art giveaway, right? Click here to join my giveaway (hosted on rafflecopter). The art in question is a fashion illustration depicting a lady in a wrap red dress and a cape. The medium is watercolour on paper.

All you need to do to join it is log into this rafflecopter giveaway and confirm that you have left a blog comment saying whether you like this illustration. I wanted to make the question simple and easy. I'm assuming nobody will join the giveaway if they don't want the art in question, right? So, answering a question whether you like it or not shouldn't be too difficult. Strictly speaking, you could join the giveaway even if you don't like the art as you're free to answer that question as you like. The giveaway ends in a week for now so you have plenty of time to log in.

As I already explained, the rules of the giveaways are very simple. It is open internationally and all you have to do is log in and comment. You don't have to follow me on every (or any) social media, share it everywhere or anywhere, really you need not do anything of the kind. Just log in and leave a comment. That sounds pretty good, doesn't it? I am all for simplifying things. When you host your own giveaways, you get to make your own rules. Now, a few more words about this new fashion illustration of mine.

THE ART PROCESS AND DETAILS- A GLAM FASHION ILLUSTRATION

I already said that the medium is aquarelle. This illustration was first sketched with pencil and then painted with watercolours on a mixed media paper. No reference was used. I just wanted to paint a glam look, so I did. I'm struggling with doing art because of back problems, so this illustration was actually a rare treat for myself (and it might be a treat for whatever art lover gets it). Now, the specifics of this watercolour paintings are the following: the paper is from a paper block from brand Strathmore, dimensions 9 inches x 12 inches (22.9 x 30.5 cm), weight: 90 lb (190 g/m2).
