 My last post about the westernmost Croatian town Umag was short and sweet. Likewise, my second post about Umag will be on the short side. In my last post, I didn't write the real reason why I was in Umag. You see, I wasn't really visiting it as a tourist. I actually relocated to Umag town back in May for work reasons. At the moment I'm working full time in the tourism sector so with the high seasons and everything I'm quite busy. The working days in the summer (during the high season) are usually quite long. They start early in the morning and end up late at night (with breaks) so I haven't had much time for blogging and posting. I promise to make it up to you in the future.  At the start of this month, I relocated again (for work). My company has sent me to a new location in Croatia. Before I reveal where I am at the moment, I'll like to share with you another post about Umag city. Moreover, I will leave link to more posts about Croatia that you might find us...

 Hello dear readers! How are you doing? Today I'm taking you to town  Umag . This charming little town is located only 10 kilometers from the Croatian border with Slovenia. Therefore, it is only a couple of hours drive from Austria and Italy. Umag is a popular tourist destination. There's a lot to see and do in Umag. You can try anything from fine dinning to more adventurous activities. If you are looking for a nice and relaxing getaway, this is the city for you. It boasts with beautiful beaches, pristine clear sea and a charming old town centre. Moreover, Umag is the perfect destination for lovers of tennis and other sports. Numerous hotels offer different sportive activities. The sport centers, playgrounds and the tennis courts are everywhere. Umag is a very green city that offer great opportunities for walking, hiking and cycling. Hello! How are doing? Today I'm back with another reading recommendation. Published in 1973, Prijan Lovro is a novella that tells the life story of a young Slovene student, supposedly a friend of the writer. In many ways, it's a typical work of romanticism. I had fun teaching it last December. That is when I reread it. Who knows, I might reread it again some time. It's always nice to hear the students' opinion of a certain book. I don't get a chance to teach literature again, but it's not a problem, I enjoy teaching other subjects as well. So, that's my book recommendation of the day.  Zdravo! Kako ste?
