Merry Christmas and all the best for the holidays to all of you! Thank you so much for your kind wishes. Yesterday I collapsed into bed after having driven back home from Croatia twice. I got back to Mostar when I received a call that I need to go back to island Hvar sign another contract so you can imagine how much driving was involved. Long story short, I went to bed early and effectively slept trough Christmas Eve. I woke up early, decorated my home in a hurry (that wasn't such a bad thing as I quite like the minimal decor I opted for), went to Christmas mass and now I'm back home, getting ready to go out for a family Christmas dinner with my husband's family. Before I do that, I'd like to share a bit more of my advent experience with you. I have blogged about beautiful Stari Grad on island Hvar fairy recently (see here , here and here ) as well as in more distant past ( here  and  here ). Today I'll show you how this ancient city is decorated for Advent. As you may know, Stari Grad is an ancient but not densely populated town. There are less than three thousand people living here, so it is a rather small town. During the autumn and winter season, one doesn't see that much tourists around. So, this is a great choice if you're looking to vacation in Europe somewhere where it is relatively warm and very quiet. There are many historical sights to see in this Croatian city (that was amazingly founded by ancient Greeks) so if you're a history lover, it's a great place to be. The advent decorations are very tasteful and lovely. It's a pleasure to stroll this town in Advent time. Wearing sporty items on every day basis is quite a common sight these days. Active wear fashion is quite a trend. Gym outfits are often featured on inspirational boards.  Considering that an average person can definitely  benefit from being more physically  active, perhaps that is not a bad thing.  Can good active wear inspire us to be more physically active? Well, never underestimate  a power of a cute outfit. On the other hand, I often wear dresses for hiking, so I can't say that wearing something fancy has ever stopped me from being physically active. The only thing that sometimes gets into way of my love for sports and outdoor activities is an active case of Chron disease (with almost no remission during more than a decade) but that's another story. Long story short, I do exercise when I can and I still like the gym outfit trend, but sometimes I also like to get dressed up.
