No coffee, no workee. Alternatively, it phrase can also be spelled 'no coffee, no workie'. It seems to be a popular thing to post on social networks. There are even new versions of this phrase, like 'no coffee, no talkie'. Have you ever heard that one? I admit it made me smile when I saw it for the first time.  You see, I'm a self professed coffee addict. Maybe coffee lover sounds nicer, but in all honesty I'm addicted to caffeine. I could live without coffee, if I could have lots of  tea instead but that's basically the same thing, isn't it? As you may know already, some types of tea are caffeine free, but not all. I honestly enjoy drinking caffeine free teas (such as chamomile and ginger tea for example), but I love those with caffeine just as much.  I can't imagine drinking decaf coffee, though.  The bottom line is that I'm aware that if I decreased my coffee intake, I would probably just increase my tea intake, so my caffeine level...

Officially, Spring is in full swing. Off the record, the weather isn't completely predictable. What to wear when it is sunny but windy? Layering seems to be the popular opinion. Not without reason for it makes perfect sense. The more layers we wear, the more we can take off. When it is windy but sunny we need to think about the kind of clothes that will protect us from the wind, but at the same time the material we choose to wear shouldn't be too thick. On that particular windy but sunny day, I was wearing a silk blouse, an embroidered vest and a faux leather jacket on top. I think that a faux leather jacket is always a  good solution for this type of weather. I've been wearing mine a lot this month. Another item I found myself reaching for is this vest with DIY embroidery.  I'm a big fan of embroidery. I've been doing embroidery for years (read about it  here ). I can never get tired of wearing stripes. For me, this print is a true classic. Something like Pavarotti of prints. I can never get tired of listenting to Pavarotti's performances. They always move me, no matter how many times I heard them before. Sometimes something just works for us and there is no harm in sticking to that. In my last post, I said that Split city is beautiful in Spring time. Today I'm going to say the same thing about Mostar.  Mostar is a lovely place to visit during Spring. Speaking of Spring, as much as I love it, I have to admit it often leaves me feeling exhausted. There always seems to be a lot that need to be done during this period. Is Spring a good time to visit Split? Absolutely. It is not only good time to visit it, it's a great time. The weather is warm and the city is not as crowded as it can get during the Summer. The prices are lower (the room we booked in Heritage Hotel Diocletian was only 30 euros). If you want an insider's advice, here it is. Split is gorgeous during Spring time.  If we're talking about late Spring it will probably be warm enough to go for a swim. Naturally, for those coming from colder climates even early Spring will be warm enough.   Historical and beautiful. Those two words are what comes to my mind first when I think of Split city. As a history geek, the first word is very important to me. However, the second word is very important as well. This city is stunning. The beaches are fantastic. The views are mesmerizing. Finally, there is the fact that I will always consider this town to be my own....and that my dear readers, that's priceless. Je li proljeće dobro vr...
