a little place to call my own (art and fashion blog)

This is not the first time I'm wearing this necklace, it was already featured here . I quite enjoyed designing and making it. Working with recycled materials is always fun because it calls for a lot of creativity. Besides, it feeds the incurable optimist in me that stubbornly believes  we can (at least sometimes) really make the most of things. Sometimes life is like bad coffee and we need to keep adding sugar to make it bearable....or in this case, fringes and hearts. Nije prvi put da nosim ovu ogrlicu, već ste je imali priliku vidjeti ovdje . Bilo ju je veliko zadovoljstvo osmišljavati i praviti. Raditi s recikliranim materijalima je uvijek zadovoljstvo zato jer zahtjeva dosta kreativnosti.  Osim toga, to hrani onog neizlječivog optimista u meni koji tvrdoglavo vjeruje da ponekad zaista možemo izvući maksimum iz stvari. I've had good luck with reading this month. I started reading  The Amulet of Samarkand    by Jonathan Stroud and I quite enjoy it. I'm still under impression of  The Sea Lady .  It is such an amazing novel. I finally got to reading Maya Angelou and I loved her,  Jazz  by Toni Morrison was as deep and profound as  Beloved .  Have you read any of these? Perhaps the novels are what I will remember this month for. Do you have any reading recommendations for me? Imala sam sreće s čitanjem ovog mjeseca. Počela sam čitati Amulet iz Samarkanda i baš u njemu uživam. Još sam pod dojmom romana Margaret Drabble (u orginalu The Sea Lady kod nas još koliko znam nije preveden). konačno sam počela čitati Mayu Angelou. Jazz Toni Morrison je dubok kao i  Voljena.  Jeste li čitali koji od ovih romana? Možda ću romani ono po čemu ću najviše pamtiti ovaj mjesec. Imate li kakve preporuke za čitanje za mene? skirt/suknja, shirt/ košulj...
