Well, obviously the best way to make an eco friendly necklace is to use either organic or recycled materials. I made this necklace  using the latter, that is,   extra fabric from one red denim skirt, little bit of cardboard, a bit of fabric old pillowcase and red acrylic paint .  The base of the necklace is made from red denim, I just tied them together. The necklace  has one big heart attached to it. The heart you see is made from cardboard and it is covered first with white fabric from an old pillow case (sewn over it, not glued to it). Finally, I decorated the heart with acrylic paints.  That's it! About 15 minutes of work and you end up with a really unique necklace. Will you try it? I didn't plan to post these photographs because they were taken with a smartphone, but then I remembered someone asked to see the bag I hand painted with fabric paints featured in an outfit.  Your wish is my command. Both of these outfits I have worn on the same day and they both feature a vintage red shirts, so hence the title. One way to wear vintage shirt would be with mom jeans and pointy boots and the second one would be with a semi plaid skirt and shoes that I decorated with nail polish last year. I do love this vintage shirt, it's so versatile! The photographs were taken in Mostar. I wore this outfit last Sunday. It was raining all morning and than the sun miraculously made an appearance....I bet the tourists in Split were happy about that, they looked terribly confused during those rainy days we had last week. What can I say in our defense? Even in the Caribbeans there is bound to be a rainy season. Mediterranean climate is wonderful but even we get a few rainy days once in a while. Hi there! Thank you for your lovely comments about my  short story .  Anyhow, today I'm presenting you with one outfit post. The wide trousers I'm wearing in this post I decorated with textile paints (see  here ) and as promised I have styled them in an outfit. I have also publshed a photo from another recent DIY so that you can see how the illustration looks like when worn. My work here is done:) Zdravo! Danas vam predstavljam jednu odjevnu objavu, a široke hlače koje nosim ukrasila sam tektilnim bojama ( ovdje ) i kao što sam obećala, uklopila sam ih u jednu kombinaciju. Također sam objavila i fotografiju drugog nedavnog uradi sam projekta, tako da vidite kako ilustracija izgleda kada je nošena.
