It is said that the greatest loves are often tragic. When I think of love stories, I often think of Vesna Parun, a Croatian poetess, and one of her poems in particular. It is a poem that Vesna wrote to the wife of the man that was her only love and it is  the most tender of poems that I have ever read. This poem has been translated by many, but today I have felt like translating it myself. The manicure that I'm presenting was made my mixing white and brown nail polish. The brown one is of unknown brand ( it was a gift, part of a cosmetic kit ) while the white one is Eveline. The mix turned out pretty cool, there was something metallic about it which I really liked. Manikura koju danas pokazujem je napravljena mješanjem bijelog i smeđeg laka. Smeđi je nepoznatog brenda (došao je u paketu kozmetike koji sam dobila jednom), a bijeli je Eveline. Mješancija je ispala poprilično dobro, bila je nekako metalik, pogotovo mi se sviđalo kako je izgledala na suncu.

 midi skirt --- midi dress red highlights For today just two of my fashion illustrations. The first one is all about the midi trend and the second one is inspired by different shades of red (and related with that I think that the red highlights go so well with Afro hair).  I still have a lot of illustration that I haven't shared, maybe soon...I find that illustrations are a good way for me to relax and to take a break from painting landscapes in large frames which demands a lot of concentration. Btw For the next few days, I won't have my laptop with me, so I won't be online as often and I probably won't be posting everyday as I usually do. Za danas samo dvije modne ilustracije, prva je nadahnuta dužinom ispod koljena, a druga različitim nijansama crvene ( a u vezi sa tim, mislim da crveni pramenovi divno idu uz Afro kosu). Imam još puno ilustracija koje nisam podijelila, možda uskoro...dobro mi dođu za malo se opustiti i odmoriti od slikanja  sli...

These are (some of ) the things that caught my eye when I was there last time. Današnja fotografije su iz prijestolnice (kako to samo velebno zvuči ), pa evo nekoliko fotografija Zagreba i detalja koji su mi upali u oko.

 I'm not on first name basis with night photography, but it was worth a shot. The night was warm and calm, almost a summer night, but with that distinct smell of autumn while  the city lights seemed to be glittering as joyfully as only the  dreams of the young do.  All in all, it didn't turned out so bad. I'm rarely satisfied with anything I do, but at the same time, I try to make most out of things. Nisam baš na ti sa noćnom fotografijom, ali vrijedilo je pokušati. Večer je bila topla i mirna, gotovo ljetna noć, ali ipak mirisaše na jesen, a gradska su se svijetla sjajila veselo kao  što se sjaje samo snovi  mladih .  Čak mislim da i nisu loše ispale fotografije. Ja sam inače tip osobe koja nikada nije zadovoljan sa ničim što napravi, ali u isto vrijeme pokušavam izvući nešto iz svakog iskustva.
