I've seen that a lot of bloggers are doing this manicure to raise awareness about the breast cancer and I thought it to be a great idea, so I've decided to join it. Better late than never, some say. My manicure wasn't really a success, I don't have a pink nail-polish (odd right?) so I had to mix the white and the red one and it turn out a bit messy, but in this case it is the thought that counts, right? On other note, I have sad news to share with you though I don't really feel like talking about it. However, since most of you often ask about my dog (German Shepard puppy) I think I have to tell you that she is not with us anymore. When I got back from the wedding I attended this Saturday, I've found her poisoned. Before we could even get the vet on phone, she was dead. Hi! In this post, I'll share some of my DIY projects that include painting with textile/fabric paints. What clothes do I paint on? As you will see in this post, I will paint on pretty much everything- jeans, coats, t-shirt.... How to paint with textile (fabric) paints? It might seem daunting but it's actually not that different from painting with any other kind of paints. It can be a similar experience. Of course, this will also depend on the brand of textile paints you'll use. Some textile/fabric paints are more thick, and some less. But all can be worked with! You can also find many tutorials on the Internet.  As I have explained a couple of times, the process can be fairly simple.  There isn't much (if any) difference when it comes to using textile and regular paints.  Many people use watercolour or even acrylic paints to paint on clothes.   Are you an impulsive buyer? Usually, I'm not but when I saw this ski-jacket last year I decided it is just what I need. I was in one of those shops that specialize in quality sportswear, trying on a pair of sneakers that didn't fit when this jacket caught my eye. Well, you might have noticed know how I feel about tartan so the pattern was what attracted my attention initially. What would I do with a ski jacket? I asked myself. I never go skiing and I abhor snow.  However, this jacket has proven to be such a practical item of clothing. I wore it often last winter and I plan to do so again. Is there anything more timeless than a leather jacket? Considering that first clothing was made from fur and leather, it must had been one of the first clothing items.  However, what we know as the leather jacket today is more similar to the ones worn by aviators and the military in the early 1900ties.
