So my puppy is not exactly bag friendly, (I couldn't possibly carry her in my bag the way legally blond does because my doggie weights a pretty sum) but I'm not exactly a fashionista or Paris Hilton's look alike, so we make a good couple anyhow...and this time we're both dressed up and all elegant in black and brown. She has a lovely new collar and a leash that make her look all grown up (isn't she getting enormous? even the vet says so) and I (besides matching her colours) have a leather bag that resembles her leash...and I must say, taking photos with her was so much fun! Dobro moja vučka baš i ne stane u neku šminkersku torbu kao onaj mališa u Plavuši sa Havarda (sama pomisao je smiješna, još malo pa će me dostići po težini), ali nisam ni ja neka hiltonica tako da si skroz dobro odgovaramo. Što mi se toliko sviđa kod ove odjevne kombinacije je da smo savršene usklađene što se tiče boja, oboje u crnom sa malo bež i smeđe. Ona ima novu kožnu ogrlicu...

This DIY tee you had a chance of seeing before. I bought it in one store and I decided to cover up the logo with beads...maybe because I hate logos? I wouldn't go that far, but I will say that I don't want to be a walking commercial. Let's get back to the beads...I just sewed them in, I don't like to glue things because that in my experience always ends up looking messy (or I'm just clumsy). I've had this tee for years so I can say that the classical method (just sewing beads on shirts, tee-s, etc)works for me. Have you ever attempted a similar DIY? What are your experiences? Now, about the location in case anyone is interested...You had the chance of seeing it before as well. This is a hill near Mostar and you can actually see the airport Mostar behind me in the second photograph. Ovu majicu ste imali prilike vidjeti prije. ENGLISH: For this DIY you will need: 1. fabric (in this case black) 2.  catalog kind of paper 3. needle and thread (preferably in different colours) 4. one button 5.elastic band 6.  safety pin (you will only need safety pin if the elastic proves to be too short as has happened to me) I didn't take photographs while I was making this necklace simply having been a spur of the moment thing (and  my first time doing it) so I cannot show you photos of the making process yet. What I can do,  however, is describe the process in a few easy steps and hopefully photographs will not be necessary. Step No.1. Cutting out the shape you want What I have done is used a Vichy catalog (but any kind of thick paper should do the trick, the important thing is that it is water proof and bendable... and not too thick because you will need to sew trough it) in semi circles. Then I have used that paper cut out to cut out the black fabric in the sam...

Looks like this is going to be a DIY week because it seems to be all I'm writing about (and I'm breaking my rule of not posting more than once a day). Firstly, I want to share with you this collar necklace...that thing around my neck, I've made it---and collar inspired necklace I chose to call it.( I plan to do a DIY post about it pretty soon.) Secondly, this is my new painting of the island Korčula in Croatia. What do you think? I hope that I have done justice to this amazing place. Izgleda da će ovo biti tjedan posvećen "uradi sam" projektima. Prvo želim sa vama podijeliti ovu ovratnik (kragna) ogrlicu koju sam izradila, da ta stvar oko moga vrata, ne znam kako bi je drukčije nazvala nego ogrlica kragnica. Druge, pokazujem vam napredak i završetak moje nove slike Korčule. Nadam se da uspjela uhvatiti barem mali dio ljepote ovog mjesta.

    First, I'll just say thank you for your sweet comments. As promised there will be some DIY post. This first one is not really related with fashion, but with decorating. I think it is pretty neat and environmentally friendly.  I've been obsessed with recycling from as along as I remember. I hate when things go to waste and I love a good challenge...and that is all you really need if you want to connect art and recycling. For this  DIY project you will need:  1. an empty shampoo bottle 2. acrylic paint (in this case you only need the brown one) 3. a bit of paper and paper towel 4. some kind of cereal (I have used barley but you can use rice or whatever) 5. a bit of nail-polish to add a finishing touch 6.  a bit of something (anything decorative or shiny might do the trick) to tie a bow. The procedure:  - First paint the bottle with thick layers of paint and immediately apply a bit of  paper towel to get a nice textu...

It's time again for some of mine fashion illustrations. This time I was inspired by one particular colour: blue.  Isn't it interesting that in English language this colour stands for sadness? Why do you think it is so? I'll keep this post short but just to let you know... I'm preparing some DIY posts for you, hope you'll like them.
