4 EASY & COMFY AUTUMN OUTFITS

Hello, there. Today I'll show you four Autumn outfits I wore. I think  they are a good representation of the kind of outfits I reach for when I'm in a hurry and want to be comfortable. Autumn is a great season in so many ways. Fashionwise, it leaves us with so many options. Layering is perhaps easiest in Autumn style, before it gets too cold. As easy as Autumn often feels in terms of getting dressed, sometimes I feel like making it even easier for myself so I choose cosy and comfortable outfits. What do you wear when you want to be comfortable? These four outfits I'm sharing today are a good representation of what I find comfortable. So, let's get started. *Links in this post will take you to Newchic website and are a part of a  collaboration.

4 EASY & COMFY AUTUMN OUTFITS #modaodaradosti #blogOUTFIT #1- HOW TO STYLE A SUMMER DRESS IN AUTUMN? This outfit is my answer to wearing a summer dress in autumn. It's all about the layering. I also wore a jacket over this, but when these images were taken, it was still too hot for me to wear it.

THE MIXED PRINT DRESS- I've had this dress for ages and it was featured on my blog many times. I will probably devote a special post one day. When I opt for comfy outfits, I like to choose printed ones to make them more fun. I'm very keen on prints and patterns of all kind.  Landscape Print Clothing can be a fun choice as well. I have one or two landscape print clothing items myself. THE MUSTARD YELLOW SWEATER- I've been wearing this one non stop lately. I'm a big fan of this colour and it seems to go well with everything. This dress has some beige and yellow tones in it and I feel the yellow sweater matches well with the leopard details in it. THE BEIGE DRIVING LOAFERS- I choose to wear this pair strictly for comfort and because I was driving. I love heels just as much as the next girl, but sometimes heels are simply not an opinion. 4 EASY & COMFY AUTUMN OUTFITS #modaodaradosti #blog4 EASY & COMFY AUTUMN OUTFITS #modaodaradosti #blog4 EASY & COMFY AUTUMN OUTFITS #modaodaradosti #blog

OUTFIT #2- MIXING DIFFERENT PATTERNS FOR A VISIT TO TORAC BAY

THE LEOPARD DENIM JACKET- I love statement jackets, animal print and ethnic jackets are some of my favourite choices. In the colder months, fun and interesting outwear is a great way of making a fashion statement. THE GREY SWEATER DRESS - This dress has been with me for a long time and I can't get tired of it. Sweater dresses are a life saviour in autumn months, just wear tights or leggings with them and you're set to go. THE PRINTED LEGGINGS- This pair has been with me for a while as well, I often reach for me. I often wear it with other prints and patters as I feel it is simply ideal for print mixing. THE BIKER ANKLE BOOTS- I find ankle boots really easy to style. They are a great essential in Autumn. I like mine plain black ones, but you might also check out some embroidered ankle boots if you want more colour or drama

OUTFIT #3 - WHEN YOU WANT TO LOOK CUTE BUT STILL BE COMFY
This is an outfit I wore recently for a lunch date in Schuman restaurant and a stroll in Mostar with my husband. We even visited the church we got married it, the door was opened and it was empty so we went inside. It was so emotional being in there again, the day of our wedding came back to me.
THE STRIPED CROPPED CARDIGAN- I got this cardi when I was a little girl, but I still wear it. I love to pair it with high waisted items because it creates such a flattering silhouette. THE OLIVE PENCIL SKIRT- This skirt is a part of a suit and comes with a matching blazer, but this time I paired it with a grey blazer. THE CARAMEL BOOTS- These boots are so comfy and warm despite the heel being quite high. I always wear them when I want to be cozy and comfortable but still look cute.

OUTFIT #4- A SIGHT-SEEING OUTFIT FOR A VISIT TO STARI GRAD
This was one of my last visits and strolls in Stari Grad this year. Who knows when I will visit again?
THE BURGUNDY JACKET- I've been getting so much wear from this jacket ever since I bought it about a year ago. One of my best purchases for sure. THE PINK SWEATER DRESS- If you ask me, you cannot have enough sweater dresses. THE BIKER ANKLE BOOTS- I really need to devote a special post to these boots some day. I've bought them about three years ago and I've gotten so much wear out of them, I feel they deserve a post of their own. What do you think?

  5. Ah, how lovely to go back into the church where you were married. I really want to return to my old church (where I got married too) for a service but it's such a long journey on a Sunday- I can barely make it to church in the same town where I live in time let alone an hour and 20 minute journey! I love a mustard sweater (my favourite Clara outfit features a mustard poloneck!) and I like it paired with the cool, patterned dress. I LIKE sweater dresses but more often than not, I get rid of ones I have as they usually are too fitted on the bottom half for me!

  14. Hi Ivana,
For me to be comfortable is to be all dress up ahahah !! That's how I feel, if I happen to be in my pajamas I already know it's a depressed day, I don't like sporty and more relaxed clothes. I like your looks and I think they are great ideas to be comfortable !!

  15. Dear Ivana, you are right, autumn is such a great season for layering and creating looks! Again your perfect looks are the proof! I love them all and again admire your creativity - also in the context of looks! When I want to feel comfy I love wearing not too tight dresses and comfy trousers or skirts. I have to admit I have a weakness for oversized clothes, maybe because they are comfy?

  16. I see some commonalities in these outfits:
    - funky tights
    - a print + a solid
    - boots with shorter skirts
    - bold colours (love that mustard sweater and the pink dress)

You're really good at mixing these elements to come up with creative looks. This is a great way to stave off wardrobe boredom! Have a good week, my friend!

  17. All of the outfits you are showing us here are proof that comfort and elegance can easily go hand in hand. I don't understand people who wear athleisure clothing or something of that ilk just because it is comfortable. Your first outfit has really stolen my heart. The cheerfully printed Summer dress with that gorgeous mustard yellow jumper on top is a true delight. That one is my favourite, although pink sweater dress with those funky tights come a close second! I do hope your week is going well and you are adapting to life in Bosnia & Herzegovina again! xxx

    1. Thank you. I get that some people wear athletic clothes because they like it but I don't get how they think that is the only kind of clothes that is comfortable. I know that comfort is relative, but still sometimes I feel like people are programmed to see only sporty clothes as comfortable. I adapted pretty well to life here, thank you.

  18. Great options Ivana!

As usual you're going beyond the obvious and decided to play with textures, materials, shapes and colors. I love that you're even mixing pieces from different seasons, like in the latest post.

As you I'm trying to get as comfortable as I can. This pandemic has modified a lot of my habits and lately I've been asking myself what I really want and need for my style and for my closet.... I'd rather go for pieces that could be mixed in endless options.

I really liked the option with the sweater/knit and the grey blazer on top (I do that combination a lot, both for casual and more elegant occasions) and also the option with the yellow sweater and the dress on the bottom, really good way to expand the life of your pieces with an unexpected twist!
