Time for another Inspired by feature. This time I have illustrated beautiful fashion blogger Melody Jacob. You can see the outfit that has inspired this fashion illustration here . This is one a gorgeous bicolour dress, isn't it? As a lover of plaid and ruffles, I can only approve! Moreover, the combination of pink and red is always eye-catching. I also like the green heels and golden earrings, they both make for a great pop of colour. Such a cute outfit altogether! It was fun illustrating it. The medium for this fashion illustration is coloured pencils and markers on paper. 

I have been following Melody for a while, but this is the first time I have illustrated one of her outfits.  Melody always features fantastic outfits and great photography on her blog. She also has great presence on photographs. You can check out her blog here if you're looking for some fashion inspiration. I'm sure you'll find yourself inspired. And tell me how do you like this fashion drawing of mine? I drew it last Sunday when I have finally managed to find some time for drawing.





 Bellow is a photograph of two fashion illustration: one inspired by Melody, the other by Jodi (featured in my last Inspired by post).  Both of them are summer outfits. These two are possibly (well, probably) my last summer Inspired by posts for this year. The Autumn has arrived and not before long, I'll be drawing autumn looks. Speaking of Autumn, how do you like it so far? How is the weather where you are at? Here the cold arrived with a storm, it was quite dramatic. A too sudden change for my taste, but what can we do? We must adjust. To say goodbye to Summer, I decided to do a little recap of my Summer Inspired by illustrations for this year. Let's have a look!


 INSPIRED BY....FEATURE: A SUMMER RECAP

I managed to draw quite a few inspired by illustrations this summer and I'm happy about that. I'll be content if I end up being as productive this Autumn. As I explained in my previous posts, my health is not so great at the moment, so I won't be as present online as I'm usually am. I hope that I'll still be able to keep this little place of mine running.  I do have tons of posts saved to drafts, all I need is some time to put them together. And that would be all for today.

    I am glad you could do a wrap up of summer illustrations before you start autumn ones. It's spring here in Brisbane but the weather is really variable - some days are still quite cold!

    Melody's dress is beautiful and you did a terrific job of capturing the outfit as well as the swingy movement of the skirt. I will miss summer and seeing summer outfits. As much as I enjoy the autumn, I do not look forward to winter which follows it al all.

    Anche qui il freddo è arrivato all'improvviso un apio di giorni fa! Ma sono proprio crollate le temperature, da un giorno all'altro siamo passati da 30° a 20° !
    Il che è anche giusto visto che siamo praticamente ad Ottobre, ma sicuramente una transizione più graduale sarebbe stata senz'altro preferibile...
    Bellissima la tua illustrazione del look di Melody, lei proprone sempre look stilosi ed originli!
    Ma molto carine anche tutte le altre illustrazioni, la mia preferita è quella con il look in bianco e nero con i fiori!

FORGIVENESS DAY BY URSULA K. LE GUIN (BOOK REVIEW AND AN AUTUMN STYLING)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.
