Fashion illustration of the day- Inspired By Spring (hairstyle/ swimsuit/ colours)

I don't do hairstyle illustration that often, but hairdos are definitely an important part of my fashion illustrations.  When I draw fashion illustration, I do pay attention to hair. Often it is something I will try to coordinate  with an outfit I'm illustrating. Typically, I will pay attention not just to the hairstyle, but to hair colour as well. Some fashion illustrators (be they hobby or professional illustrators) draw only clothes, some (like myself) like to focus on every possible details. I'm a hobby illustrator, but I do put in a lot of effort and time into my fashion illustrations. I like to consider everything. It is quite possible that I will take up hairstyle illustrating as well. It wouldn't be surprisingly since hairstyles are something I enjoy drawing. Today my hairstyle preposition is one for short hair. I have long hair, but I love short hair hairdos.

HAIRSTYLE ILLUSTRATIONS

Where to look for inspiration? I don't need to look far. I'm inspired by everything. Sometimes I find an old drawing and I decide to make new drawings based of it. When I start drawing I usually get tons of idea and one thing leads to another. Right now, I'm mostly inspired by Spring. If you scroll down, you'll see two new drawings (medium coloured pencil on paper), inspired by an old drawing (medium pencil on paper).

SWIMSUIT ILLUSTRATION

I have one more thing to share and that is a swimsuit illustration. At least I think it is a swimsuit illustration. I suppose it could also be seen as a lingerie illustration. Anyhow, it depicts a very classical kind of design that I like a lot.  I didn't use any reference for this illustration, but this design is so common, I can't really say I invented it either. The medium for this one is pencil on paper. Feel free to imagine it in colour if want. Although, if I were to actually sew this design (where does one buy materials for swimsuits?) I would probably opt for black. I'm a big fan of colourful swimsuits, but I also really like the appeal of a classical black two piece swimsuit. Plus, you are less likely to be attacked by a shark that way. Sharks are attracted to vibrant colours. Not that I know why anyone would want to go swimming in shark infested areas. That's all for today! Have a lovely shark free day!

  10. Unfortunately we live in a world like this, where nobody respects anybody. If we're influencers for a few things, so that we may be for others, too. I don't think anyone is able to tolerate faults but education is what you see today.
Thanks for letting me read it that way. As always. Thanks a lot!

I think I've said it more than once, but your drawings are getting better. You've been perfecting the technique, and you can see it all along. I'm very pleased to have the picture you made on my bedroom wall. Keep going!

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.
