I only own one faux fur coat, but sometimes one is enough. In my case, one will have to do because I still haven't found a worthy substitute to this old thing that I have been wearing since I was a teenager (and that used to belong to my mother). How to wear a faux fur coat? Today I have prepared for you a selection of faux fur coat fashion illustrations and outfits. If you browse all the outfit proposals I have prepared for you, you will see that I love to pair a faux coat with jeans. In addition, I've decided to share an outfit post with you, something I don't get to do very often nowadays (ever since fashion illustrations took over my blog) but that I still enjoy. The outfit in question is a combination of jeans and biker boots, something very comfortable to wear and very day time appropriate. A bit of casual chic is always a good idea. I feel like a faux fur coat is a great way to make any casual outfit look more dressed up and feminine. What do you think?

Last year I did a lot of (faux) fur illustrating.  I do love wearing faux fur and learning how to illustrate it was most fun. Speaking of faux fur, this is what I had to say on the subject last year and it seems to that things haven't changed much, have they?.
We have been seeing a lot of fur lately, haven't we? Not just in editorials but in the streets.  Fur and faux fur has been trendy for a while now, but this winter the trend seems to have exploded. I'm noticing a definite increase in faux fur jackets and coats worn on every day basis. If you ask me, it's great, because fur is fantastic for keeping warm. Most people will opt for faux fur, not just because of moral principles but because a lot of people (myself included) can't afford to buy a real fur coat. Fortunately, today there is an excellent selection of faux fur. Technology does have its benefits. Who knows where the future is going to take us in terms of material and textile development? Here is to a bright future for all of us!

Can we take a moment to admire this beautiful historical villa? If you like historical villas dating back to Austrian-Hungarian Empire, Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) is the place to admire them. Not all of them are in pristine order, though. This it the more fault of the country (government) than of the owners. You see, these old villas are protected by law, so it is very expensive to rebuild them. Most families who own these villas simply can't afford it. If you ask me, if you are going to limit the way these houses can be rebuild and maintained (making it extremely expensive), then you should also help the owners financially.

Rebuild or not, these Austrian- Hungarian empire style villas are absolutely beautiful. Mostar used to be a part of this old European Empire so there are quite a few of them. If you want to read more about some of the sights dating back to that time, you can read this post. I'm, in many ways, very fortunate to be able to live in this beautiful city, I know.

    I have been seen a lot of fur this season indeed, and I love the trend. I look like a burrito with a fur coat though, make me kind of sad.... it's just not for me :D
    I love how you styled your coat, can't believe it is so old, but still looks brand new and not to mention in line with all the trends.
    The villa is indeed beautiful, your city reminds me of my home town, where a lot of historical buildings are abandoned and it's a shame.

In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.
