Merry Christmas and Happy holidays! / Čestit Božić i sretni blagdani !

Do you typically invest a lot of time and effort into decorating your home for Christmas? Do you enjoy it? I don't go all out like some people, but I do invest time and effort into getting my home ready for the holidays. In addition, I, like most women, usually do spend quite a lot of time cooking and baking. My Christmas decorations for this year are a mix of DIY and bought ones. Like every year, I made some of them myself and I bought others (for example the white window stickers). 

Ulažete li obično puno vremena i truda u božične dekoracije? Uživate li u tome? Ja ne idem do kraja kao neki ljudi, ali uložim dosta truda u spremanje kuće za blagdane. Uz to, obično dosta i kuham i pečem kolače, kao što radi i većina žena ovdje. Moje dekoracije ove godine su mješavina onih koje sam sama napravila i onih koje sam kupila. Kao i svake godine, neke sam stvari sama napravila, a ponešto sam kupila (npr. bijele naljepnice za stakla).

    I also put some effort into decorating my home for Christmas and I spend a really a lot of time in kitchen, but personally I don't mind it, because I love cooking :) You have amazing Chrismtas decoration, your Christmas tree is so, so beautiful! :)

    Dear Ivana, how you decorated your home is very beautiful and I see you spent a lot of time to make everything so wonderful Christmassy! Am I right that you live already in your new home? It looks wonderful! And also your bakery for sure looks not only yummy but is in fact very delicious. When our children were little I decorated nearly the complete house and I love the Christmas spirit through this decoration. Now I decorate only a few rooms but I still like it :)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.
