Mostar, the city of bridges / Mostar, grad mostova
The weather has been unpredictable lately. One day it is Summer, the next Autumn. Today I might be sporting short sleeves, tomorrow I might be wearing a winter coat. Layering is always a good idea, but when the weather is this crazy, it turns into a necessity. Truth be told, these images were taken about a month (maybe even two) ago, but I wore practically the same thing last night. It has been raining all day yesterday and while it is not exactly cold outdoors, it isn't warm either. One doesn't feel too warm wearing a winter coat. Meaning: Spring is hiding itself. Not that I mind much. Most of the weather is pretty gorgeous here and I would be silly to complain of a few rainy days.
Vrijeme je u zadnje vrijeme nepredvidljivo. Jednoga dana je ljeto, idućega jesen. Danas možda hodam u kratkim rukavima, sutra nosim zimski kaput.
Mostar is a city of bridges. Not surprisingly, really. When a city can boost of seven river (7!!!!), there are bound to be bridges. This bridge has had a long and an interesting history. It was rebuild six times and changed its name four time. It is officially called Musala bridge, but some people still call it Tito's bridge (one of its old names). It is located between hotel Bristol (on its left side) and hotel Bristol (on its right side).

I never knew that Mostar had so many bridges, that's amazing! :) And so funny about the Hotel Bristol... Bristol (in the UK) is where I live. :) And I completely agree with you about the weather lately, dear... It has been so unpredictable over here, as well! We had a couple of weeks of sunshine, but now it's back to dark, gloomy and rainy all the time, unfortunately! Hopefully it will pick up again soon. :) Also, I really love this outfit, dear! The coat is so stylish and comfortable, and quite similar to one I have for autumn, also. Love how you styled it with everything else! Hope you're having a fantastic weekend, lovely! xoxo

thank you Kay. I have one funny story about hotel Bristol, I might share it in the future.
Deletehvala<3
You look so stylish in this outfit Ivana! I really like your coat and the wash of these particular jeans. Also, the layering with the collared shirt and sweater are perfect! How is the weather over there? Here it is sunny but windy.

Weather looks cool there, dear! Bet you had a great time! xoxo
ReplyDeletePozdrav
You know - I was in Mostar many years ago. I still remember how beautiful this city is, even though soooo much time has passed. Great pics . XXXX Margot :))))))))
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! 7 rivers, that's an amazing fact for just one city! In Russia, St Petersburg boasts literally hundreds of bridges with all its rivers and canals. But of course, it is also a large city. There is something magical and mystical about bridges, no wonder people are drawn to them... crossing over, going to another side - it's all full of symbolism!
ReplyDeleteI do love your outfit here! I love that you show different sides of your personality with your outfits - sweet, feminine and romantic or, like here, energetic, moody and edgy. Very stylish! <3
