November : Summary/ Studeni: Sažetak


I'm a bit late, but better late than never, right? So here it is, a quick November summary, just in case you missed out on something. In terms of my illustrations, it has been a very productive month indeed. We also had a few books reviews and even one documentary review (here). Bye, bye November and welcome December! This December I'll probably be posting even more illustrations, so if that is what you like stay posted. Generally speaking, I'm quite happy with this blog. It really feels like a little virtual place of my own.

Malo kasnim, ali bolje kasno, nego nikad, zar ne? Tako da danas dijelim s vama brzi pogled studenoga, u slučaju da ste nešto propustili. Što se tiče ilustracija, mjesec je bio vrlo produktivan. Imali smo i nekoliko ogleda knjiga, a čak i jednu recenziju dokumentarca (ovdje). Doviđenja studenome i dobrodošao prosincu! Ovoga prosinca planiram objavljivati još više ilustracija, pa ako vam se to sviđa, navratite. U globalu, zadovoljna sam ovim blogom. Baš imam osjećaj da je moje posebno virtualno mjesto.

    Hi Ivana, I am a huge fan of your illustrations so I'm excited for December then. This is a great recap and of course better late than never. Looks like I caught your November illustrations but missed your looks. I have to say that much as I love all the looks, the poncho is my favorite. Perhaps cos the image is very playful and so is the print as well come to think of it. And them the shorts. I love your grey tights and I'm inspired to pick up one. I usually stick to black and nude, mostly nude these days. So nice that you're loving and enjoying your blog. Feels like a second home right?
    Hard to believe December is here. Scary how time is zipping by. Well, have a great month beautiful!

    Ovakvi pregledi su pogotovo sad za mene savršeni jer sam propustila doslovno čitav mjesec blogosfere pa danas laganini nadoknađujem prije nego opet nestanem :) Jeej za još više ilustracija, ja baš uživam gledati ih i pratiti kako napreduješ, drago mi je čuti da im daješ još više prostora na blogu jer to stvarno i zaslužuju! Today I shall review The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak. I was actually gifted this book. What a wonderful present it proved to be! FORGIVENESS DAY BY URSULA K. LE GUIN (BOOK REVIEW AND AN AUTUMN STYLING)

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.  Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! It's almost ten. I've had a long week and I'm quite tired and sleepy. However, I'll try to wrap this post up for you tonight. What kind of post? Well, a post about art. Fashion art to be more precise.  I've been on a roll lately with my art posts.
