Fashion illustration of the day (Flares) / Modna ilustracija dana (Zvone)...21.11.2016

 You already had the chance to see this fashion illustration on my Instagram  profile here. This morning I decided to add some finishing touches with a marker. After outlining the jacket on the illustration with a purple maker, I used brush and water to soften the lines a little so that it would match the medium, that is watercolour. I even prepared a little YouTube video to show you how I have done it. Do you prefer the original watercolour illustration or the new one? Let me know in your comments.Now, about the illustration itself. I've always been a big fan of flares, even since I was a teenager and I'm pretty sure they will always be my number one choice. What can I say? I just love everything about them. 

Već ste imali priliku vidjeti ovu modnu ilustraciju na mom instagram profilu ovdje. Jutros sam odlučila još je malo doraditi markerom. Nakon što sam ocrtala crte na jakni na ilustraciji s ljubičastim markerom, koristila sam kist i vodu da malo omekšam crte kako bi se ukopile u medijem koji je akvarel. Čak sam pripremila i kratak video na YouTubu da vam pokažem kako. Sviđa li vam se više orginalna ilustracija ili nova? Recite mi komentarima. Sada, što se tiče same ilustracije. Uvijek sam volela zvone, otkada sam bila tineđerka i poprilično sam sigurna da će mi uvijek biti prvi izbor. Što reći?

    Another lovely illustration! And it was fun watching you transform it. I think I actually prefer the original and I wish I was wearing that outfit right now. I really need to get a pair of flare trousers.

    Davvero bella questa illustrazione Ivana, mi era piaciuta già quando l'avevo vista su IG, sia per il modello che per come l'hai colorata.

    Ilustracija je odlicna i cak mi se i pinku vise svidja ova doradjena verzija. Sto se tice trapez hlaca, nisu mi najdrazi i prvi izbor ali ukoliko se nadje pravi par, mogu izgledati prekrasno. Noge bude kilometrimaaaa duge a to je svakako lijepo, zar ne! :*

    Anyway the illustration is, it's beautiful, dear Ivana! But as I am a fan of markers and use them myself, quite a lot, I loved the second style, with a marker.     Mnogo, mnogo mi se sviđa što si stavila i video :) Magija na delu, plus je i mužički izbor savršen! Baš uživanje za čula :) Meni je savšena ilustracija u bilo kojoj verziji. Taj spoj boja je prelep, pa pokret koji se nazire, stav... Divno! I naravno, šire nogavice su tako nekako ležerne, a elegantne. Ja ih volim bez obzira na trendove i slično :)

    There are very few flared bottoms (including flared skirts and flared dresses) I dislike. You did a fabulous painting job here, as per usual. Amazing job with these flares in this painting.

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective. SUMMER TO AUTUMN TRANSITION IN BLACK AND WHITE (MOSTAR)

 Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! In this post, I'll share a few Summer to Autumn outfits I wore in Mostar. As I keep mentioning in all of my recent posts, I did some second hand shopping this Summer. I needed to make sure to follow my school's white and black dress code. This summer shopping I keep mentioning proved not only affordable, but also very successful. I managed not only to wear everything I bought, but also to transition all of my newly acquired items to Autumn. Now, you will see how I transitioned some of my newly acquired items for Autumn.  The whole shopping second hand thing in the Summer took me less than half an hour. I spent less than 20 euros in total. Not bad! It seems that the less I shop, the better I get at shopping. Sometimes too much of the good thing can be bad for you. FASHION ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY: WIW AS A WEDDING GUEST

 Hello! Welcome to a new Friday fashion illustration post. Technically speaking, the two fashion illustrations I'm sharing aren't new, but this outfit is. New in the sense that I haven't posted it before, not in the sense that the clothing items as new!  As you know, I'm the queen of shopping my closet. In this post, I'll share an outfit I wore for a wedding I attended recently. Ever since I got married and moved to Herzegovina, I had to become an expert wedding guest. In Herzegovina, you get invited to everyone's wedding, especially if you're Catholic. It's not unheard of for a wedding to have up to a thousand guests!  Once again I shopped my closet for my trusted items. I pulled out an elegant black midi dress with ruffles that I got in a collab ages ago and that I still wear. Upon glancing these photographs, I realized that I illustrated this dress before.
